The Omega Factor: Drawn to the Dark

Hey Guys,

welcome the last adventure of the 3rd Box Set ‘Drawn to the Dark’. I am really sad that the series end here. I informed myself that there is still one new adventure it is an audio book. As soon as I have new money I will get it. This is a really good last story.

Black Outs

Anne get asked for help. Grace has black outs. She doesn’t remember anything but comes back dirty and with strange bottles. It seems that something is buried and Grace is trying to find it. Adam has a bad feeling about it. Something is down there and it isn’t anything good. It seems that this something wants to break out.
This time Adam has to use his abilities different from before and even Morag has to use different approaches.

Doyle

Finally Adam and Anne realize that Doyle is acting weird or weird than he had in the second Box Set. I really wished we had seen how Doyle had handled all that but Vanessa has her own plans. She also seems to know what is buried down there and she wants to use it for herself.
Maybe this is the thing about Omega, that everyone actually just wants the most power for his own. It doesn’t feel like the group is holding together. It is more like everyone working for himself.

The Darkness

This time our friends are up against the Darkness. It really feels like the great showdown. A few mysterious are coming to light. It is not an end. It gives us so much more questions and possibilities. There is so much more ahead. I still hope that Big Finish will at some point bring it back. There are so much more stories left to tell. So many things happened at the end and I want to see how they handle the consequences of this adventure. But it is also end you can live with…and sadly has to.

The Omega Factor: Phantom Pregnancy

Hey Guys,

welcome to the 3rd adventure of the 3rd Box Set ‘Phantom Pregnancy’. This is a really good story. It is shows us so many sides of our characters. They found a woman levitating. She is a refugee and comes to Department 7 because of the levitating.

Scientist

The woman Tatara is not only levitating but also caring a child. Anne things that she only have the power because of the pregnancy. She is really excited because she feels like there are shortly before a break throw. That are the reason Anne lost herself a little in her work.
Adam on the side is on edge the whole time. He is always tiered and looses his temper and has cramps.

On edge

The interesting thing about the story is the tensions between Anne and Adam. They have really different approaches. They worked very well together the last times. But she scientist and he just want to save and help people. You got the feeling that Adam is becoming unsatisfied with his situation.
Morag also have not an easy job protecting Adam. I like that Morag and Anne just would do everything to protect and save Adam. He is so important to many people.

I really like the episode. Like I said before this Box Set has only great episodes. This is actual my favorite Box Set. The atmosphere is not always dark but it always get that dangerous vibe at the end. That something is coming, like the end is near. In a way it is right since this is the last Box set and the next adventure the last.

The Omega Factor: Let us play

Hey Guys,

welcome the 2nd adventure of the 3rd season of The Omega Factor ‘Let us Play’. We all know the little games on the Smartphone or on Facebook like Candy Crush and stuff like this. But what happens if one of those games shows you what you fear the most?

A demon on my phone

Anne and Adam are visiting an old professor that needs help. A lot of students have such ‘supernatural’ events. They are exhausted or missing. All of these students are working in a club that create games about their deepest fears. Of course there is something going on. Adam is going with one of the students to find out more about it.

Never go to the cellar

Morag really doesn’t have an easy job with Adam. She always tries to warn him and he always runs into danger. I really like the developement of Adam. He was really afraid of what he can do. But he always wanted to help, to save people. In the last season he put himself in a prison cell with a killer (TOF: The Changeling) and tried to get close to him. But he start to be afraid of this evil in the world. Maybe because know he really sees the evil. He understands now that he not just brings himself into danger (TOF: Awakening) but also the people he cares about.

Join the game

I really like the story. Okay I believe there is no story I didn’t like. But the 3rd season is really, really good. Adams journey is just one of the great storylines. Morag as role in every episode and I really like the bond they created between her and Adam. Also this story shows hits that there are more than just one group against them. That maybe Edward and Omega are not necessary the same thing.

The Omega Factor: Under Glass

Hey Guys,

welcome to the first adventure of the third Box-Set ‘Under Glass’. I had listened to the first 15 minutes on the Big Finish Podcast when they promoted the Box Set. I listened to it and thought it sounds very interesting. That is when started asking people if they know it and if it is good. I remember like yesterday how Cool-Stuffandthings told me that it is great and that I should listen to the first episode which is for free on Big Finish and I did. So the start of this story is the start of my big love for this series. Cool-Stuffandthings was right. Thanks for that.

What is trapped will never stay trapped

But let’s talk about this episode. It is about a picture that brings apparently the owner luck and maybe kills the owner at some point. Morag is trying to tell Adam that something is not right. But like always she talks in riddles. We all know that Adam is not good with riddles. The story is really interesting. It is inspired by ‘The Bottle Imp’. There are a lot of stories out there about this theme and that is ‘The Omega Factor’ take on it.

All kinds of ways to get hurt

We start this Box Set with Adam finally set in his life. He knows who the work with Anne works and he got a girl friend. His power doesn’t freak him out anymore. It is like normality for him. It is lovely to see Adam and Anne working together. The scene where Adam is telling Anne about his girlfriend is so sweet and it is a little like getting ready to introduce your girlfriend to his mother.

Superhero

Adams girlfriend Claire has a really interesting journey and character developement. She is a strong woman but has this view of Adam. She sees him a little as superhero and she see that he has problems but she doesn’t realize what it means. When she got all that luck she changed and the way she looks at Adam changes too. It is great and interesting story Claire lives through.

The Omega Factor: Awakening

Hey Guys,

welcome to the final story of The Omega Factor ‘The Awakening’. This story is where every Episode of this series come together and paint as the bigger picture and what is behind everything. Morag as obviously a big role again and her connection to Adam.
It is not only getting serious but it also starts to get personal.

The most important thing

Adams family has an accident. But are in a critical condition and Adam is on his way to them. This brings Adam in a really bad position. It also makes it really interessting for us to see how he deals witht the situation when so much is at stack. Bringing Morag into the play what make things hard for him. Because he has such a kind heart but with his daugther in danger he has really limited choices.

The mystery of Edward Milton

Anne is trying to figure out what happend in the last few month. She realized that something is wrong and puts the puzzle together. Not knowing that she used a false piece. The best about this is actually that Doyle has a bigger role. I really grow to love Doyle. So I really love to see him get some action. He is a none believer but even he can’t deny it. But I like the way he tries to deal with all this.

Everything starts fitting together

This story brings everything together. We have the story about Edward Milton, we have Morag and maybe we even get evidence that Tom was right and that there was a group active – The Omega. I really like it. It brings so much together and let so much open for the next season. I can’t wait to listen to the rest and see what they do with all the pieces that they put into place.

The Omega Factor: Let the Angel tell thee

Hey Guys,

welcome to the second Box Set of ‘The Omega Factor’ ‘Let the Angel tell thee’. In this story you don’t really of a case. Anne is working with Edward Milton. After the kills in ‘Somnum Sempiternum‘ Edward Milton is the one that profited from it.
Adam is haunted by bees or wasps in his apartment. He moves to Anne and is plagued by nightmares and Morag who tries to tell him something.
Also Anne is getting lucky with man. She goes out with Edward Miltons uncle.

The normal week of Department 7

There is a lot going on in this story without a case. All the stories of course have something to do with each other. It is sweet to see Anne in with a man. She is kinda sweet and a bit shy. But what I love the most about it is the way she talks about Adam. The way Adam is jealous and protective. In the end it is all about the relationship between these two.

Morag is back

This sweet girl who get used by everyone. She is trying to warn Adam of what is coming. But it would be too easy when she just tell him. She speaks in riddles and he has no idea what she means. I hope that this girl at some point get her peace.
This is my favorite story of this Box Set. It is just like a normal week in Department 7 but in the end it is obviously more and plays into the big story. Also the story shows how deeply Anne and Adam care for each other.

The Omega Factor: The Changeling

Hey Guys,

welcome to the second story of ‘The Omega Factor‘ Box 2 ‘The Changeling’. I really like this story. Adam is undercover in prison to investigate a few death. Anna is searching for information on the outside. In this story there is not much Anna and Adam interaction.

Mysterious Death

A prison guard dies in prison. They have filmed and nobody killed him or came near him. The prisoners are all in the cells. Still the kind of death is suffocate. The prisoner they investigate killed his best friend in the same way. Also he was the prisoner that talked to the guard when it happened.
Adam feels something odd when he sees and hears this video. So he decide to go undercover to find out what is going on with him.

The outside world

Anna is trying the same thing on the other side. She is obviously worried about Adam. She is searching information about Reaver – the prisoner in question. So she tries to talk to the psychiatrist of Reaver and the mother of the best friend.

The changeling

I really love the story. It turns out different from I thought. The back story of Reaver is really interesting. I love how Anna is leading the investigation and Adam is amazing how he tries to understand what is going on with Reaver. He has a lot of compassion and a trust in his feelings. Also it is interesting to see how this story plays into the big story. Banks is in all the stories even when it is just in the background.

The Omega Factor: The Hollow Earth

Hey Guys,

welcome to the last part of the first box set of The Omega Factor – The Hallow Earth. After I listened to all of them I got asked which one I liked the most and I couldn’t decide between this one and the second one – The old gods. So it is a great story and totally shows me why I love these characters so much.

Gone Missing

A lot of homeless people are missing. They were last seen in the church. To prevent becoming the suspect the church is asking Anne and Adam for help to find out what is going on. So what is going on in this story. They are mysterious noises and Tom researched that churches are built on places that have specific energy. Maybe can even built gateways between earth and hell?

Churches are creepy

What is the best about the story are the characters. It is amazing to see Anne and Adam work together but the most I love the way Adam see the church. Churches give him the creeps and has not the best opinion about church. Which is not so far from my one opinion. I think that church and believes are really powerful things and that they can be very dangerous at times.

Listing or not

Definitely go and listen to this story. It is great. They way the characters interact with each other is awesome. What I like the most about it is that we have these two people from the church believing in something bigger – believing in god. Than we have Anne who believes in sciences and doesn’t believe in god and then there is Adam I am not sure he knows what he is really believing in but it is definitely not god. They all witness the same things but they see them very differently and they don’t change their opinion. I really love this one.

The Omega Factor: Legion

Hey Guys,

welcome to the third episode of The Omega Factor – Legion. Legion brings the names Morag and Drexler into play. This episode actually is brining in a lot information from the original series. They found a good way to deal with the information you need from the original series. The names that are dropped are Drexler and Morag.

Morag

This episode is about Morag. She worked for Drexler (Adams father thought that he was the devil himself). In the original story Morag was a gifted and mute girl. Big Finish changed Morag a little. They actually gave her a voice. A mute character on audio drama is a little challeging. So they gave her a way to comunicated with Adam. He starts hearing her voice and want to help her.

In bottle

Adam stumbles over the corrupted exorsist Wanda McCrum. Which leads him to the names Drexler and Morag. He and Anne are going to search for her and find her. She is in a comma for years. It seems that Wanda McCrum is paying for her care. So Wanda is exorsice demons and trap them into bottles and also is looking out for Morag, who starts to wake up.

Listing or not

The voices and the mystery around Morag and Wanda is layed out to scare you. I read a lot of the other reviews and they found the story scary. I didn’t found it that scary but I think I am a little different in this part. There is a lot nessassary so I be scared when I hear or watch stories. In real life I am easily scared.
But I like the story. I like that we get to know a little more about the original series. The whole mystery stuff about what Adam is born for. What his powers mean. All the question that are what makes this series so amazing. So yes go and listen to it.

The Omega Factor: The Old Gods

Hey Guys,
welcome to the second story of the Omega Factor – The old gods. This is the first time Anne and Adam are working together on a case. We have Adam having nightmares or something like that and the old files of his father. They both work through.

EMA-Sufferiors

This case is about the disappearance of a girl who thinks that she is electro sensitive. The professor how is worried about her thinks also to know where she is. An institute to investigate EMA-sufferer and has also a quiet mysterious side to it. One of the name who lead this institute is also find in the files of Adams father. So they go to investigate. This is the ground story.

Do you trust me

What I like about this story is the interaction between Anne and Adam. They don’t know each other and have different ways of dealing with problems. It is not easy to work with someone you don’t know and have trust this person. Adam and Anne are kinda dancing around each other. Trying out how this relationship can work between. They still need to find a way to be a team. This is them trying to get warm with each other. That is what I like the most. We see how this relationship grows and get built up.

Listing or not

Definitely go and listen to it. Like I said I love the interaction between Anne and Adam. I love stories about people getting to know each other. Also the story is interesting and sparks the interest to find out what it is about Adam and his abilities. This is definitely one of my favorite stories out of this Box Set.
