The Omega Factor: Somnum Sempiternum
Hey Guys,
welcome to the first adventure ‘Somnum Sempiternum’ from the second box set. I love this series so so much. The first Box Set was amazing and even when I liked the first box set a little bit more than the second – the stories are still great. But let’s talk about this adventure.
Adam and Anne are back
These two are a great team. In this story their relationship is a little … tricky. Anne is busy rebuilding Department 7 and negotiate with Mr Doyle about every penny. Adam feels neglect by her. He wants to work on his abilities and she doesn’t have time for him.
That changes when Mr Doyle himself asked for their help with a suicide case.
What I like is that Mr Doyle get’s more scenes and is role is getting bigger. He is not a really nice person but he is loyal.
The new intern
So the case is easy. The victim sees a girl all around work that is watching him and that’s creeps him out. But nobody else sees this girl and one night she kills him or makes him kill himself. Since nobody was in the room it is handled as a suicide. But Mr Doyle get the security tape where the secretary walks right through that special girl.
Great start
The story is good. Adam and Anne working together is always fun. He is the one that gives the clues and built a connection to this girl. It is great to see Adam learning more about his abilities and start using them. But this story does a lot other stuff. It give us a lot of scenes that hint at the big storyline through all the series and how all the stories are contacted.
I really like the story and the hints.
