Whovian travling through TV-series

Hello Guys,
today on my tumblr account was that Caroline Forbes vid at first i just wanted to put it on my favorite list so i could watch it someother time. Because right now i am in Sterek fever, but than i saw the title of the video and i just had to watch it right now. ‘She doesn’t understand how hard it is’ I remember that scene so well and i remember all the talks about Caroline with an acquaintance. She dislike Caroline and loves Damon and Tyler and she is everytime on there side. I remember all that posts about the little Elena and how hard she have it and i remember this worst first episode of season 4 and just have to write about her.
Just to be truthfully i love Damon, but here i am telling you something he is a bad person. When i look at what he did in all that season and what Klaus did… i have to say Damon is the one that is worse. But that is not want i want to talk about. What i want to talk is about a little unloved girl, which is just alone and can’t not believe in herself.

Caroline Forbes is the typical cheerleader. Blond, dump and shallow that is what they want to tell us in the first episode of TVD. But this is not what she is. She is the third wheel in her friendship, she is a guest that Elena and Bonnie endure. They don’t take her serious or tell her anything. She is nothing to them, but they are everything to her. She wants the love of these two, she wants the love of her parents, she wants the love of a boy. Caroline is never enough… her father left her and don’t see her much, her friends just endure her, her mother thinks that she is stupid. You think that is not true? Do you remember the talk about the future job? When Caroline tells her mother what she wants to do? What did her mother say? She didn’t believed in her daughter. Did we ever see something like that from Elenas family? Don’t get me wrong i don’t like Elena but i know that she don’t have an easy life. But my point here is that Elena was loved and her family support her and her decisions. Did Caroline have that? Of course her parents love her in there own way, but they don’t see her, they don’t support her.
Caroline is the person people hang out when they fight with the other friends and the saddest thing is she knows that but she let it happen. She wants something every girl wants at some point. The bad boy, which is deep in his heart a good guy and only sees her. But Stefan for example didn’t even look at her once. She tries so hard, she tries to hard. One reason i ship Klaroline is that in that first episode she would have take Klaus without a second thought. He is everything she wanted but Klaus would have never looked at her. Now he wants her, sees her in a way… but she didn’t fall for it anymore.
But this is not about Klaus this is about Elena and Damon. Do we remember all the time Elena didn’t understand why Caroline was against Damon? How many fans say that she have to let it go. Would i love to see a friendship between Damon and Caroline? Yeah i would, because they aren’t afraid of each other. The tell the other what they think without thinking about if it would hurt them.
But everyone who says that she should let it go, or she should forget it and that it was ages ago is wrong. Because Damon abused her. Damon raped her. He took everything from her. He treat her like dirt. This relationship Elena is talking about… is just Caroline frighted for her life, being hit and manipulated, used as a blodd bank and raped. None of her friends really seems to understand that. Because nobody helped her to heal. You know what the worst thing is she had to see him everyday after that. That she is not going to go crazy is really amazing.
Some people will came and tell that Damon help her after that alot and saved her. Like that time he wanted to kill her because she turned in a vampire?
Here we are at the second thing the vampire thing. Caroline didn’t know anything about vampires. She got killed because Catherine want to send a message. She didn’t have a choice. She woke up alone and that hunger after blood. She had to go through it alone. She killed the boy Bonnie liked because she lost control of her hunger.
When Bonnie learnt that Caroline is a vampire she turns on her. Caroline was alone. She couldn’t tell anyone. The only one that helped her was Stefan. But he did it because of Elena. Yeah later they became good friends but before it?
So Matt… i love Matt and i loved them both together but she was right she was his second choice. Maybe he didn’t know that for himself, but he didn’t let her in – never. When they found Vicki he didn’t let her help but he let Elena help. Matts mother was against her but never against Elena. Caroline was not good enough. When he learns the truth about Caroline he hate her, he gave her the fault of Vickis death, he couldn’t look at her because he saw a monster in her. He told her that she should make him forget everything because he can’t even look at her and worked together with Carolines mother to kill her. So much to her loving boyfriend.
Her mother plans to kill her, when she learns the truth and that point accutally goes to Damon because he told Liz that Caroline still was Caroline, that she never was more Caroline than now. Liz is a good person and learns to live with that knowledge and actually starts to be proud of her daugther.
Her father captured her and tortured her, when he found out. He wanted to fix her. I will never forget how she says that she can’t be fixed.
Caroline herself thinks that she is broken, a monster, a bad person… she don’t have a high opinion about herself. She learns to don’t see herself as broken but she never learnd that she actually is good enough…we see that in season 5. When she tells Jesse(?) that she learns that biology stuff because the professor thought she couldn’t make it. She needs to proof herself worth everytime.
Before we came and talk about Tyler and all that stuff that happend later, let us see what we have. Caroline was alone, when she turned, without a choice, everyone she loved turned on her because of that. Elena was never alone. Damon and Stefan were with her the whole time. She knows about vampires, she knows what it means and she has a choice. When she became a vampire Stefan and Damon where there to help her to not lose control. Jeremy accepted her. Bonnie make her the ring and was there to help her trough it. Matt did everthing to help even plays blood bank for her. On Elenas so hard way of becoming a vampire and learn to control she was never alone. isn’t it ironic that that person says that Caroline never understand how hard that is?
Let’s talk little more about her father. She loved her father. She forgives him everything he did to her. When he starts to see the real Caroline, he died – he choose to die because he never wanted to be a vampire.
Okay lets talk about the relationship Caroline had. The first was Damon, who abused her. The second was Matt, which second choice she was and tried to kill her. The third was Tyler…
Tyler… Caroline helped him through that werwolf thing. She did it with the knowledge that just one little bit could kill her. But she was there every step of that way. She was ready to protect him from Damon. When he found out about her not being the only vampire in town. He sells her. She got tortured by the werwolves.
But Caroline forgive him and gave him a second chance. They became a pair and for a little time i really liked him. Than Klaus came and made him a hybrid. Tyler was standing on Klaus side and betrayed and sold everyone that is important to Caroline because Klaus made him a gift. That had nothing to do with the sire bond. It was a decission from Tyler. When he bit Caroline he ran away, to learn to break the sire bond and let her alone.
Than the most saddest thing happend… the bad guy… the one everyone hates, Klaus Mikaelson is the only one in that town that see what a wonderfull person she is. When he saved her from the bite, he tells her that she can do anything she wants and he is right. Nobody told her that. Nobody told her that there is a world out there waiting for her. He is the one that looks at her in a room full of people and when he tells her how amazing she is, how full of light she is, she didn’t believe it. Klaus make her show a other side. A side which isn’t afraid of the big bad guy. She is becoming a strong person, which stands up for her friends, which says her opinion and isn’t afraid of the reaction.
When Tyler get back he gets all alpha on her. He is jealous of Klaus and take it out on Caroline. Than Haley comes to town and nobody can tell me that they didn’t slep with each other, but that is just my opion. But what is really important is the hate thing he has going on. I am not on Klaus side on this, but i understand it in a way. Tyler tried to get the hybrids from Klaus, he tried to kill Klaus. Of course he didn’t sit back and things yeah let him do it. That didn’t mean that he was right. Of course he shouldn’t kill Tylers mother and i understand why Tyler hates him for that. But can we thing about what all the other did all that season to protect Elena, what Elena wanted to do to protect her family? Murder.
They important thing is that Tyler left her again. But Caroline waits for him. Than she just wanted one thing, she just wanted that Tyler loved her more than he hate Klaus. But he couldn’t do it. His hatred was more important for him than her. He decide to leave her behind.
Than there was Jess(?) a nice guy, that get turned into a vampire, a vampire how wants drink vampire blood. But he didn’t want to do anything bad and he could have been the guy for her, but Elena killed him because he tried to kill Damon. Again Caroline is alone.
That little girl is such a loney girl and nobody see how deep the scars are in her heart. She is so strong so much stronger than everyone on that show. Alaric killed her father, but she tried to save him, she forgive him. But nobody is ever giving her credit for it. The only one how does is Klaus.
We will talk about the relationship between them another time. The only thing i want to say her is she slept with him and the way Tyler treat her after that is…she didn’t deserve that. He decided to go, he decide to break up with her. They weren’t together anymore and really how much mistakes did he made? He killed Catherines daugther someone who never really did anything to them. But nobody even talks about it. It is just okay.
And after that everything goes down. Because wee see that really great friendship between her and Stefan grow. This friendship grows so much that his dead is the last thing that makes her go cold…she didn’t turn her feelings of or something like that. But after her best friend dead… she give up what makes her so strong. She is becoming like Elena and all the others. She killed a boy to save Stefan from the death without thinking about it, without remorse. And everyone that is saying that this is a great developement is wrong. She isn’t bad ass, she is nobody that get shit done. At that point she becomes a murderer. At that point she gave up what defined her all that time, she gave her moral up. That isn’t a good thing. All the death that happend and all the other things didn’t get me like that moment, when a big part of Caroline Forbes died.
I hope so much that she will find a way in season 6 to reanimated that part, to save that part of her. Because if she can’t she will lose that light in her.
Please Stefan or Klaus need to help her. But of what i say she is alone in it again. Like she was her whole life. My little sad girl. He never understand why people look at Elena or Bonnie, when there is such amazing person like her. I will never understand why the strong and strong willed woman had go all that stony street of her life alone and other persons that are so weak have so much people around her all the time. Elena has stony street to through her life but she was never alone not one second. Isn’t ironic that this persons says ‘she will never understand how hard it is’, when it should be Caroline, who says that. Because nobody ever understands that she knows how hard it is because she was going through all that shit alone, because nobody ever understands who it is for victim to see her torturer everyday, happy and with your best friend, because nobody understands who hard it was to help saving Alaric after he had killed her father – they didn’t even thought about it.

Let’s be true nobody appreciates her in that town. I loved Caroline from the beginning and she had a great character developement. She got strong and indepant. I don’t understand why people don’t like her, i don’t understand why people don’t respect her. She is the reason i still watch tvd. She is my princess and which way she will take, i will go down that road with her.
