Me

Hey Guys,
the last few years were tiring. I know that I never were someone how could do this on a regular basis. There were always bigger gaps before I restart again. But the last years I just stopped. Not just here but on tumblr as well. The only thing I kinda got was Instagram. I just didn’t know what to write and what to do with myself.

I started a lot of stuff and stopped a lot of stuff. I was restless and wanted to do something, write something, draw something, create something but I was to tired to actually do anything. But I was always looking forward to my travels and I always wanted to write about them. I know most likely nobody really cares about this blog. I don’t have much followers or even conversations. But still I want to put something out here.

This time I want to do it differently. I started rewatching Doctor Who and started reading again. I fall in love again with the Big Finish Torchwood series. I just want to talk about the things that I love and yes that are TV-shows, books, radio plays and travels. So I will just start doing it and hopefully this time I find my own passing.

Top 10 – Fantasy

Hey Guys,

here comes the next Top 10 with the Fantasy. Good fantasy is even harder to find than Science Fiction. It is always great to find an amazing Fantasy World.

1) Believe
This is my favorite series. I really hate it that you can’t buy it on DVD. It is really hard to find to watch. It only has one season and it ended before it really started. But you can live with the ending. It is a really sweet story about a young girl with powers and a lot of people who want to use her and her powers. A story about a man who needs to find himself. I really love the series and will rewatch it over and over again.

2) Teen Wolf
Yes! This is differently the second place. The name is soooo bad. But the series is so good. It grows with every season and the characters are so great. Yes. I hate a lot of it. I mean I started to like Scott and Alison in the third season. The story about them was soo bad. Scott was such an idiot. I mean the way he treats Derek is impossible. But I love the other characters. They are all so strong on their own way. The last season is also really bad… I don’t know what they thought by making it. But most are amazing.

3) Merlin
This is another way of interpretations the saga of Merlin. It is amazing. The chemistry between Merlin and Arthur is so great and also I love how they play with the exception everyone had. The way the characters grow to become their part in saga is sad. But I get the feeling that I have a problem with last seasons. Because I am not a big fan of the last season. The story is great but the way the knights treat Merlin in the last season is not great.

4) Hunter x Hunter
How can you not love Gon? The little boy who wants to be everyone’s friend and I mean everyone’s. Human, animal or demon… he doesn’t care who you are. He wants to be friends. But if go against any of his friends. He will fight till the end. The adventure he and his friends live by realizing there dreams is fun. It is so light and fun but on the same time so dark and cruel at times. But Gon always makes you smile.

5) Supernatural
Supernatural is a difficult series. I love the first 5 seasons. Dean Winchester is one of the greatest characters ever. He is my baby and I will at sometime watch all the bad season just to know where his story ends. In the later season are still great episodes and great characters but most of it is just not great… But the first five season amazing.

6) Being Human
Being Human is one of the series one of my closest friends made me watch it and I fall in love with it from the first series. It is a series about a ghost, a vampire and werwolf share flat and their life together. I really have to rewatch it.

7) Sense8
I find it hard to explain what Sense8 is about. 8 people are connected with each other. They jump in the bodies and someone is hunting them. I really like the series. The first season is a really long introduction. The christmas special started really bad… and gave me the feeling had missed a whole season but I will start watching the last season of it.

8) Hamatora
There are sweet characters and a good story. It is about people with powers. They try to help people and are a little like detectives. Behind the powers is a bigger story and the characters had gone through a lot. I wish there would be more stories about the characters and there relationships.

9) Buffy
Buffy is cult. I loved so much and it is also the first serie my family watched as family. I have a lot of good family memories with this serie. We all loved it and nobody wanted to miss this. I really miss the times my and family met around the TV and watched a serie we all loved and talked about. All this is Buffy for me. It is also a good series. I loved the characters and it always fun to watch it again and see how my view changes every time I watch it.

Top 10 – Science-Fiction

Hey Guys,

welcome to the next top ten. Sciene Fiction is one of my favorite kind of series. I mean aliens and Space what do you want more. There are a few series like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D or Falling Skies that I loved so much for the first three season and than it just turns bad – in my opinion. But let’s start with my Top Ten.

1) Firefly
Firefly is amazing. It just have one season but this season is so great. It is Cowboys in Space with good music. The characters are amazing and so different. It is just so much fun to watch these crew. Sadly not all mystery got explained but it is still one of the best Sci-Fi Show I know.

2) Doctor Who
Since my blog is about Doctor Who. It has to be on my list. Obviously it is an amazing series with a lot of seasons. So it is the perfect series of quarantine. Start with the first season of New Doctor Who. If you already love New Doctor Who start watching Classic Who. If you watched all of this than you have a whole world of Big Finish and books.

3) Torchwood
Torchwood is part of Doctor Who. But it is really different from Doctor Who. It normal adult, more sex. I mean the first adventure is a sex – alien… it is sooooo bad at the start. But give it a few more episodes and ignore Gwen. The series is amazing and characters are great.

4) Neon Genesis Evangelion
This is one of the series that started my Manga/Anime Hype. I loved it than and I love it now. Teenager (it always has be teenagers) as to control EVAs to fight against bad creatures. It is about mysterious of these creatures and about the problems of these teenagers.
The only thing about this series I don’t like is the ending. But I also have the feeling the creature has the opinion than me. Because he rewrites the ending a lot.

5) Stargate/Stargate Atlantis
These both series are cult. They have a great team and the story lives through the chemistry of these characters. It is a real fun to watch them interact with each other.

6) Gundam Wing
This is another series about teenager saving the world. Gundam Wing is a great series about war and what it means. About manipulation and wrong decision.

7) Dollhouse
This is another series that end to early. It is great and I really love the series but the last part of season 2 is kinda hasty. It is about people who get programmed with other identities. They can be bought. For example one man want to relive one day with his dead wife and orders this other person that got the memories and skills of this person. Of course things don’t go with out problems

8) Sarah Jane Adventures
Another series from the Doctor Who Universe. Sarah Jane Adventure is the opposite of Torchwood. This is a series for kids. Sarah Jane is one of the old companions of the Doctor. She is a journalist who finds an alien boy and adopt him.

9) Wizards vs Aliens
This is another kids series. It is written by Russel T. Davis and Phil Ford. It is lovely to see magic and aliens in one series. The two main characters are really different but also built a really strong friendship. I really have to rewatch it.

10) Dark Matter
This is actually the one series you can see all the ‘surprising’ turn long before they even come. But I like the characters. It is fun series. But also it ended with the third series and I haven’t watched

Me and the quarantine

Hey Guys,

it is one of the biggesst theme right now the virus and the quarantine. So I also talk with a friend of mine about the situation. I told my friend about this block and he told me he wanted to look at it so he get tips what he can look. I always wanted to do Top 10s and things like this. I never got around to do anything about it.
My biggest problem is that I can never decide what to put on the list. Because I love everything so much and who a character in a movie ‘The DVD’s would be jealous.’

But I will try to do my best. So that maybe someone get a little help with what to do with the time and I actually spend time with my favorite thing talking about series.

So I will do a few lists in the next few days. If you want to talk about series or want to do recommendation on your own just talk to me.

DW: The Who Shop

Welcome Guys,

as a Doctor Who Fan and you are visiting London you have to go to the Who Shop. Sadly it is not in the center of London. It is a little outside. When I got out of the train I thought that I am wrong, but I found the shop and the way was worth it.

What to expect

The Who Shop as everything that a fan heart needs. They have everything from cups to towels, books to audio books. They have all the stuff about the New Who. But the best part about the shop is that it also has the old stuff. Here you find the first Big Finish Main Range Adventures that are only available as a download a Big Finish. Even better are the few older Doctor Who Books. It was a dream come true. I spend a very long time in this tiny shop.
They also have a TV-Museum. The entrance cost 3 Pound. I looked around in the shop and asked myself were the Museum should be.

The TV-Museum

If you want to see it you just asked the Seller about it. They take your stuff and brings you to the TARDIS. Yes the TARDIS is the Entrance to the Museum. You can open the door yourself with the TARDIS key and the Seller is always so nice to take pictures of that.
When you bring a really camera you can use it in the Museum. Handy camera are not allowed. I don’t want to spoil it. But the Museum is fall with old Doctor Who stuff. It is filled from the ground to the top in stuff. Truth be told it is not a big Museum and I would pay the money again, but I think it was actually worth it.

Happy New Year everyone!

Hey Guys,

i know this last year was a little rocky for me and that i put the series and this site on the sideline. But i really want to change that again. My life needs a little structure and need to concentrate on many other things but this is also a big part of my life so i will be working on it.

Sooo my plan is that watch Elementary the 5th season and than start the second season of Travlers. There are alot of other series that wait on Netflix to be watched – like Sense8, Stranger Things and so one. I will work on that. Already started watching Elementary and post like always my thoughts on tumblr.

I also plan to restart my rewatch of the classic Doctor Who stories and i also will watch some time this week the christmas special…
For all the other series… i don’t know how and when i will watch them… small steps.

Also i have alot to do for my big vacation. Japan i am coming. I really can’t wait. It is one of my biggest dreams come true. So i am really excited.

I hope we all will have an amazing year. We deserve it.

DW: Planet of Giants

Hey Guys,

welcome to the second season of Doctor Who with the first story ‘Planet of the Giants’. The story is just to mock Barbara and Ian. The actually landed in the right time (June 1969) but they got a lot smaller. That makes everything more complicated to achieve.

Too small

The story is nothing special. Ian finds himself in a murder case. They try to get justice for the victim what is not as simple as it seems when you are so little. For me the story itself is a little boring but it is kinda funny and interessting to see how they try to get stuff done in that size.
Also it is really a hard hit for Ian and Barbara to be that close to home. Sometimes we forget that they just want to be home. They grow to love the Doctor and Susan and also the traveling and the adventures. But in the end they still just want to get home and back to her life as teachers.
That is another reason i love these two. They know who they were and what they want in life before they met the Doctor. Of course the travel change them but they only make them more aware of what they really want.

Why i am so silent these days and a goodbye to Teen Wolf

Hey Guys,

this year is not mine. I had alot of problems with my workplace and i kinda think that this will continue after i am actually back at work. Right now i am at home for nearly 6 weeks because of a tendonitis and it doesn’t seem to get better. That is also the reason i haven’t written much these days because it is so hard to type with just one hand.
I hope it will be better soon… it already takes long enough.

But now to a the reason i actually write this. Today i found myself very nostalgic after looking the two episodes of Teen Wolf of the last season. Sunday – for me monday – everything will be over. Teen Wolf will be over. All of you know that i loved Teen Wolf and also loved to write here about it and believe me when i say i will write about again and again.
This serie was one of the reason to get this blog. I made this blog to talk about Doctor Who and Teen Wolf. Now it ends and i am happy about it. The people who read my articles know that the last season wasn’t mine. I loved season 5 and the end but i almost disliked everything about season 6.
But there were so much about Teen Wolf i loved and this is the reason that i thought that i will write a little about it. I thought about something like a meme. Right now i am working on it, on what i want to talk about.
There would be the main things like:
favorite Character
favortite relationship and so one

but i wish i would be more creative about it. If someone of you have any ideas or things they wanted to know, write me and i will make them part of it.

Next Monday i will show you what i thought about and try to get you everyday a great answer maybe i even find the time of making a giflet but i don’t promise that. So start the work.

The Originals: Season 3

Finally –

Finally i watched ‘The Originals’ Season 3 and i loved almost everything about it. Once i was back in i watched it in almost one go. The last season left of with a broken family. Klaus got a step to far for saving his kid and has to deal with the consequences.

Always and Forever

Elijah refuse to forgive Klaus this time. What makes the peace in the house difficult. Truth betold i loved Elijah and Klaus relationship before but in season 3 started to stop caring about it very much. Because it is always the same circle. Freya is trying to hold the family together what is easier set than done. I really started to love Freya and her relationship with her siblings and with Vincent.
This is about the Mikaelsons. Sadly Rebekah don’t really have a storyline neither much screne time. I hate how fast the killed her host boby of. I love Claire Holt as Rebekah but i missed Rebekah no matter in which form.
The search for a way to save Kol started to fade in the background and in the end was only used to inflict pain.
I love this family. But as good as this season was… with more time for ‘all’ the Mikaelsons it would be even better.

Parents

Klaus and Hayleys relationship is broken and she hates him. Don’t get me wrong Hayley have every right to hate Klaus. Everyone is holding what he did against him. But nobody acknowledge the fact that Hayley wanted to take Hope from him. She decided what was best for Hope and i really hated that developement and the reason for the wall between them – Jackson.
Gladly the relationship between them involves.
This actually why i love the season so much. It is about Hayley and Klaus becoming Hopes parents. I hope you get what i am saying. Klaus was her father before and Hayley her mother but in the season they became parents… i don’t know a better way to say it.

Watching or not

This season of ‘The Originals’ is so much thr originals. It is drama and pain. So much of it. It has fights, a big bad. we got more of the background story of Klaus and his family. It has broken hearts and unfullfilled dreams.
Like i said there is one thing i hate about this season. It is that they set so many characters on the sideline – Rebekah, Kol, Davina…
