DW: Phantasmagoria

Hey Guys,

thanks to a Big Finish action I bought me a few adventures of the early main range and so I also bought the second adventure of the main range Phantasmagoria with the fifth Doctor and Turlough. Turlough is the first Companion Big Finish brought back and what a good choice this was. I love almost every companion the Doctor had, but Turlough I not only loved he was one of the most interessting once. The whole story line with the black quardian was amazing. So since the Doctor and Turlough are traveling alone I would say that it plays between Resurrection of the Daleks and Planet of fire.

Here is a mystery going on

In the time form the 8th – 10th March 1702 many people disapear. This is of course also the time were the Doctor and Turlough arrives. Very soon they get seperated. Turlough met Jasper and is searching for the Doctor because mystery going on here. Turlough loves a good mystery as much as the Doctor and much than cricket. You all know I love when the characters are sperate from the Doctor so they have more time to shine on their own. What Turlough in his own way always do. I really start to rewatch the adventures with him.

I find it really hard to say something about the story without telling you almost everything. The Doctor is of course searching for Turlough but also tries to find out what is going on. He spends is time with Hannah and Dr Samuel Holywell. Dr Holywell thinks that he has evidence for the existince of ghost. He is hearing voices of the dead. Of course the Doctor is not believing in ghosts but is ready to see the evidence.

It doesn’t come with a surprice that this as to do with all the disapearnce. His investigations reunited him with Turlough. I really like this story. We see so many sides of our Turlough, the loyal one I like most. I am ready for more adventures with him and I hope their will be more.
