Hey Guys,
this episode of Teen Wolf showed us how deep Scott already fall. I want to talk about a few things. But first i want to say that i really like Scott. All things that i say about him, is not that i want him to make a bad person. He is a good on and he is human and makes mistakes. I am just tiered of Scotts mistakes being okay because he is younger than Derek and Dereks mistakes aren’t.

How is the worst Alpha

I thought about it alot. Because someone ask if everyone forgot what a shitty alpha Derek was and me imidetly reaction was ‘No, but Scott is worse’. That he is worse is my opinion but it is a fact that he is a bad alpha. That he is a worse alpha than Derek for me has to do with one fact. But lets start with Derek being the alpha. To talk about that we need to know that Derek is broken. When Derek came back to Beacon Hill he was broken and than he found his sister dead. The season one were for Derek the worst days ever. He lost his whole family in a fire but he had always Laura, he had always his alpha. But when he came to Beacon Hill. He had nothing. He was a omega. With nothing more to loose. That is why he tired to make Scott his brother. He did it in such a bad way. But he just doesn’t know how to handle this situation. Scott and Stiles doesn’t make it better with accusing him of the murder of his own sister. He have everyone against him and he does nothing against it. Why? Because he is feeling guilty. It is his fault his family died, it is his fault Laura died and it is his fault that Scott got bitten. The hunters came to him and everytime i see this scene i hate Chris Argent with all my heart. It is just that scene. After that i beginn to love him but this… he came to Derek and talks about his dead family in away… and he knows that Derek thinks that the Argent were involved.
So Derek is in a really shitty situation and the situation got worse because Scott choose to fall in love with Allison. Derek handled everything in this situation wrong. But in the end he just wanted to help Scott. Because he loved once an Argent and she burnt his house and family down. He want that Scott doesn’t have to experience that.
He never brought Stiles in danger with the intentation. He always tried to hold Stiles out of it. But he is forced to work with Stiles because Scott doesn’t work with him. All he cares about is Allison at that time. So he works with Stiles because he is willing to do it. When Stiles got in danger because of Derek he tried to protect him. He doesn’t know that Peter was the alpha. His intention was never to bring Stiles in danger. Not like Scott did with Mason.
Just for one moment stop and think that the only member of your family wakes from a coma and killed your sister to became an alpha so he can take revenge for what happend to him. Peter is the only one he has left. So when he said that it was a mistake that he killed Laura. Derek has to believe it. Peter is his uncle. He knows him his whole life and Derek is broken. He needs someone to stand with him. Scott doesn’t want to so he needs to believe in Peter. So again he makes shitty decision but he makes them to not break completely. When Scott tells him the truth Derek is ready to kill his uncle and does it. So he became a shitty alpha. Everyone was so angry at him that he doesn’t let a teenager kill… that was actually one of the best decisions Derek made this season.

So now we look at Scott. Just to be clear that this is not the reason Scott is a worse alpha. Because he doesn’t have an easy life either. He had a really shitty father, which was an alcohlic and left his family. But he is not broken. When all this starts he had a really good life with to people that are like a father to him, a loving mother and a best friend that will do everything for him. Scott choose the first two episode to go the easy way and blame Derek for everything but this is not true. The first season was totally Peters fault and the second season was also Scotts fault. Don’t get me wrong. He doesn’t have a fault for the Kanima. But neither has Derek. He doesn’t know Kanima was even really. When Scott had bitten Jackson he would also became a Kanima. This is Jacksons ‘fault’. Fault is of course the wrong word. It is his character, his doubts, his search for who he is that makes him a Kanima.

Derek doesn’t handle his new with much care. It is not that he don’t care about them. He actually did, because he wants them to be his family. But he is afraid of losing them again. That is why he is trying to teach him to fight. He wants them to survive. He can’t let them in. Because he is way to broken. He doesn’t trust easily and everytime he wants to he got it worse. Derek cared about the people in Beacon Hill he did and felt guilty for every death. That is why gots a even shittier alpha than before. Because he needs to fix it. He doesn’t want anyone else to die that is why he choose to kill the kanima. The way he did it and the way he choose tell it Scott were so wrong. But was he wrong? If you look from the morality than yes he was and i am a person that things that their are other ways, better ways, that killing is never a solution. But when they did it Dereks way many people would have survived. Scott is here on the ‘right’ way. He wants to save everyone even Jackson. Is he right? Yes he is and that makes Scott a really good person. But because of that way people died. I don’t want to say it is Scotts fault. Because it wasn’t Scotts fault as much it wasn’t Dereks fault. But the decision he made to save Jackson had a price. He never sees that.

So Derek want to family but failed to be for his pack a family. He was just a creepy teacher that threaten them badly. But he doesn’t just bite them. He gave them a choice and he told them before that their will be hunters. He actually told them what it means. So he was a creepy alpha but never made them do anything they doesn’t want to do.
Scott on the other hand did this. In the end of season two he abused Derek. He did. He used Dereks body against his will to get Gerald the bite. That is abuse. This was one of the most shitty decision Scott did. This can not be excused by anything. So he is ready to kill Gerald but by him it is not so bad like when Derek would have done it. What did Scott do after that? Nothing. Okay, yeah Erica and Boyd were not his pack. So we will excuse this.
Derek never stoped searching for them. When he found them he was willing to sacrifice himself so they will survive. Yes he was a creepy alpha again when he wanted Issac save. He know Issac would never leave him, if he asked him to. So he drove him away with througing the glas at him. It was a mistake and this can’t be really excused to do this to a traumatic kid that was abused before. But he did it to bring him to safety.
So Scott uses violance against Issac. That wasn’t creepy writting. Because Scott did it before. I will rewatch the seasons and than i can tell you when he actually was that way before. But everyone seems to forget that he did that to Issac.

So now we talk about Scott and his decisions as an alpha. He is a good person. I will never hear anything else. But when Aiden and Ethan wanted into the pack. Scott would let them without even thinking about the feelings of Issac. If he wants to forgive them fine. But the murdered Boyd and he can let them into his pack. After that he decided to join Decuilion. I loved him for that creppy decision because he did for the right reasons. But after that he is not such a bad alpha. He actually did it very well. For someone that doesn’t know much. That he bite Liam without his consent, doesn’t count because he wanted to save Liam. (But just as a fact Derek bite four people with their consent and Scott one without…)
In season five Scott begann to fail as an alpha. It starts with Kira. Something was really wrong with Kira. She lost control over her power. Scott watched her getting worse and worse without talking to her. That is not just a creppy alpha decision it is also a creppy boyfriend decision. Instead of talking to her and maybe finding out what is wrong with her, he choose not to trust her anymore. Of course he loved her and wanted her save but this wasn’t keeping her save this was making it worse.
I don’t want to talk about Malia because this wasn’t just Scott. When Malia say the dread doctors… i am pretty sure that neither Scott nor Stiles really believed her. How they look at each other and how Malia changed to say the man in the mask… it hurts me to say that Stiles as much as fault as Scott. Because nobody of them was really their for her after she saw Tracy murdered before her eyes.
Than we talk about his decision to make Hayden the bait. This was a Derek decision. Scott begann to break his own believings. He decided that he can’t save everyone. So maybe someone most die to get them in a better position. Of course he doesn’t wanted Hayden to die and he would have protect her. But her safety wasn’t his priority.
After that he take a ‘human’ into the hideout of the dread doctor, who even Malia couldn’t fight. Just because nothing happend doesn’t make it a good decision. It was a bad decision.
So the worst decision and the dumpest, because really Scott how blind are you, is trusting Theo. Than again he did a bad decision for the pack and an even worse as a best friend. He turned his back on Stiles. Maybe he doesn’t even realized it, i doesn’t know – can tell you this next episode- but he through Stiles in that moment out of the pack. No more Malia, no more Lydia. The pack is at his worst point ever and Scott let the one go that would do anything for him and this pack. Even worse is that Stiles bagged him to help him, but Scott turned his back on him. He failed Stiles as a best friend.

So yeah they are both bad alphas. But the big different is: Derek tried so hard to be a good alpha and Scott tried so hard to be good man. He is trying to make the right choice but he never realize that being a good guy not meant that he is a good alpha. He cares about his pack but he never really tried to be a good alpha, he tried to be a good man…that is why Scott is a worse alpha.

Why many people want Derek back and believe that nothing like that would happen if he would be there is also easy. Derek would have not trust Theo. He would have trust Stiles. He always trusted them more than anyone else. He would never fall for Theo…he would be on Stiles side.

Another good guy

Parrish is the only thing left to talk about. Lydia and he are really sweet. She is telling him that he is the one that took the bodies. They found the Nemeton and the bodies. What does Parrish with that knowledge. Lydia can tell him as much as she wants that maybe his helping to cover up the supernatural and that he is a good guy. But he doesn’t care he imprision himself. So he isn’t any danger to anyone. I don’t understand why people are angry at the Sheriff for respecting Parrish wish? Parrish is not wrong the didn’t know would he did and what the reason for it is. It could be dangerous. Nobody believes that Parrish is a bad guy. I think that the sheriff know sees him as even a better cop than before.
