welcome to my negative thoughts about the series Ghost Wars. I watched the trailer and thought that this looks interesting. A good story is something I hadn’t in a while. I missed that short picture of that thing were a hand comes out. I don’t know if I have something good to say about this series. Let start with the characters.

The lovely neighbor hood

The main character is Roman. Roman can see ghosts and nobody else can. He always could see them, what made him for the start a victim of the cruel jokes and more of the other kids. The grown up are not better. Everyone except the Pater and the Sheriff are is treating him like shit. That is why he wants to leave this small town. Obviously. One ghost is by his side most of the time. Maggie a young woman who died and now is talking to Roman all the time. She is kind of cool in the first episodes. All people in town are really not much sympathic.
When the ghost shit starts and people start to believe Roman a few character changes and become more sympathic but not so much that you would look the series for them.
Roman I liked to a certain point. No matter what shit the people throw at him, he always tried to help them. He never let anyone on his own, saved them again and again. This big and good heart made me love him and after the second of the season something happens and a lot changes.

What is going on – spoilers in this part

I have seen the whole series and I don’t know what is going on. It starts as a ghost story and then become a series that just think of ways to kill people on this town. Every episode someone has to die. Than it becomes about possession and exorcism. Which okay I still can put with ghosts. It is still kinda logic. Than the ghost becomes aliens. Because they start to ‘lie’ eggs and develope it orange glowing pots that ‘eats’ humans and changes them. Also ghost can impregnate people here and I don’t know what this thing was that she give birth to. I just don’t get any of the stuff that is going in this story.
For every that hoped that this get explained, can stop now. Nothing gets explained. All that stuff is not important in any way at the end of this series.

Watch it or not

For me this is a really big don’t watch it. I should have stopped after the third episode which was so boring. At the first episode all that ghost stuff start because of an earthquake. Than we get this episode – I think it is the third episode – were we are at science facility and they have a exalarator and start it for the first time. So what will happen? The moment they start the exalarator you know that they are at fault for the earthquake. It is kinda obvious. But we still have 30 minutes to explain to as that this people are at fault of the earthquake.
But I still was going on and I think the fifth episode is the only good one in all this show. The story ist totally different to all the other stories in this series. It is about finding out what has happening to Maggie the day she died.

After that every gets even worse. Just don’t… Ghost Wars is nothing you has to see.
