DW: Companion Chronicles – Star Born

Hey Guys,

here we go with the new adventure of Vicki and the first Doctor in ‘the Companion Chronicles’-serie. It is the 9th adventure of the 8th season and play in London early 20th centuary. In the timeline of the Doctor it most be shortly after Rome, that would be ‘the romans’. That means Ian and Barbara are on board of the TARDIS. This is one of my favorite travel group.

A story about Vicki

It is like that. Of course it is really good that Vicki has such a big role because it is her story, but Ian, Barbara and the Doctor completely changeable. The role are so little that it also could be Dodo and Steven… or someone else. But Vicki is really well written and can totally shoulder the story on her own. The Story is a nice idea. Vicki get warned that when she will step in the TARDIS again she will die. The person that whats to save her is nobody else than herself. Vicki is an interessting character and make that story work really nicely.

Time

The only point i have is the time thing. How much time did they spend on that planet to develope that friendship? For me this friendship thing is to fast and not really believeable for me. Also Vicki seems to know the Doctor very well, what is a little special because she doesn’t know him very long. ‘The Romans’ is the second adventure together and Vicki hasn’t seen many side of the Doctor at that time, but she knows him in that story good enough to know he will do anything to save them. This is what takes a little away from the story. But this can only be me.

Fazit

The first story read by Maureen O’Brien (DW: Frostfire)was for deficult to listen to. This story his more pleasant to listen too. It is a really good story and Maureen did a really good job reading the story. It is sad that the role of the other are so little but it don’t take anything form the story. Vicki is shining in this episode and i can recommand it. It is a really good story.

Broadchurch: S02x01

Hey Guys,
here we go with the first episode of Broadchurch season 2. The first season was pretty amazing and i am excited to see what the second will be like. I should have rewatched the first season before i mix the serie with ‘Murder in the first’ and other stuff. I remember not very much who all the characters are and the relationship between them. Most of it comes when you watch it.

Trial

This serie makes the thing personal. The whole town is part of this and when the murder of Danny plead guilty, everyone was shocked. Ellie just wants to move on, she wants justice so she can live with the guilt she feels. Her son is not talking to her and Dannys mother gave her the fault. How could someone not see this.
I think the trial will be through the whole season. The lawyers have a history together and the war is already beginning. The ordered an exhumation, that alone breaks the family again.

The old case

So it seems like Alec Hardys old case is the next case. I don’t know what i think about that. Because the simualarity is … yeah… He is hiding the woman of the man that he believes is the killer of the girls. This woman – played by Eve Myles – did give her husband an albi, when he hadn’t one. Hardy is making her testify against him, but he got free and now she is afraid of him. Hardy is trying to protect her and ask for the help of Ellie. Eve Mills plays this woman with something that makes her fishy…

Hardy and Ellie

Ellie is closing up and Hardy is trying to be a friend and help her. He is not very good at it. But it is sweet how he tried. The scene in the toilette was really touching. He wants to be there for her but she feels alone and maybe in a way she wants that. Also they built trust between each other. It is nice to see.

SJA: Day of the Clown

So,

a new family moved in the Bannerman Road. Rani is the new girl and Luke and Clyde like her from the start. Even Luke has a little problem with her because he feels like she is replacing Maria. Also her father is the new headmaster, who don’t like Clyde very much.

Many children vanished and the beginn to see a clown. But not everyone is seeing them. Just the ones that have a ticket for the museum. We learn something new from Sarah Jane. She is afraid of clowns.

Rani is very interessted in the case and just can’t let it go. She is even more persisted than Maria. She is getting on my nervs with her i need to do the thing. But of course they decided to tell her the truth.

The Clown makes a big mistake. He takes Sarah Janes son and a mother don’t get defeated by fear when she can save him. They also find the weakness. Everyone have to fear something and the clown is afraid of laugther.

A good thing about Marias departure is that the relationship between Sarah Jane and Clyde is getting more time.

Arrow: S02EP15& 16

So here we go again with the next episodes of Arrow season 2.

Slade and Oliver

This episode is really fun. Slade is at Olivers home. Oliver and his mother still not talk with each other. So everytime he tries to get Slade out, she take at a attack against her. But he just want his family save. He is trying to make Slade go, but Slide is just laughing at him. Everything thing he takes to hint what happend. It is really fun to see. This is a villian like i love them.

Arrow-Team

Oliver calls the Team. It is nice to see the team work so good together. Sara realize that this is Slades voice and that he his not dead like they thought. The make a plan to take Slade out and bring the family of Oliver to savety. What ends in a really funny and suspicious scene at the end. Where Roy is coming to get them out and Sara came from above. Slade seems to surprise to see Sara to.

The fight on the Amazo

The three has a good plan to take the Amazo and it works just fine until the moment Slades finds out what Oliver did. Actually i don’t see it like the all do. Slade gives him them fault of what happend to Shado. But i don’t think that Oliver decide for Sara. He just did what he always did. He goes for the weakest. Weakest in the way of body strenght. Shado is strong, she can fight, she teached him, she always could protect herself. Sara is the one that in Ollis eyes isn’t strong enough to protect him. So he goes for her. If you watch closly you’ll see him to that all the time.

Marriege Counsling

The second season is totally only that. Lyla and her blind obedience is a big point of fighting with John Diggle. She does what they told her and there are many corpse on that way. She has point when she tells Diggle that this is not different from Oliver and Sara. In a way she is right and i always think that murder should never the answer. But what A.R.G.U.S. do is unhumanity. The professional killer is more sympatic than the organisation.
That is not just my thinking. John Diggle is also in that situation. He also saved the life of the murder of his brother. Deadshot is an really interessting character and the relationship between Deadshot and Diggle became interessting. I hope we will see alot more about it.

The reason i hate superheroes

Oliver do what he always do, he goes distance to everyone and tries to do it on his own. Most heroes do that stuff and i hate it. But this is why Sara is such an amazing character because she is don’t let him push her away. She makes him stay in the reality. Something Felicity also does from the beginning. That is why the woman are so strong in that serie because they let the man not go on their own.

The Musketeers: S02x01 – Keep your friends close

but your enimies closer. That is the thing i thought when i read the name of the episode. So the waiting is over the new season started.

The loose ends

Aramis baby is there – as the son of the king. He tries to look at him and search for the queen eyes. D’Artangan is recommanding Constance to the queen and his is hiring her. Constance make clear that he should stay away from her. And even worse is that the Cardinal is dead. This is the obivious part but it is sad because i was such a good bad guy. Bye Peter Capaldi. So here we start the new season.

New BERATER to the king

The king is trying to replace the Cardinal and finds it deficult. The chief of the musketeers don’t want the job but the king don’t like to get rejected. I think that will be a problem later. But for know the musketeers should rescue a friend of the chief and that should become that to the king. Will he be a traitor like the one that told them about him? The traitor seems to be a old friend of the queen. What makes me question her again?

The new woman

I don’t like the way D’Artangnan and the woman look each other. Also the meeting is simualar and he get punch him like she did. Constance is an amazing character and he hope she got not replaced in D’Artangnans heart.

So it seems that Porthos past will be playing a role in this season. Aramis knows now what happens to Adele… it seems cruel that she died in the first episode and Aramis get to know this on season later…

We will she what the next episode will bring us. Until than ‘One for all and all for one’

What i want for the new year

Welcome to the new years guys,
i am sorry that i was so little here in the last few days, but i had so much to do and so on. But here we go. I will try to update regualar here but not everyday. That is something i can do. But i will try to have the article of the things i watch when it airs, the next day. I can’t promise that i can make it everytime but i will try. Because everything can change with my work shedule…
That means for january. That every Saturday or Sunday i will write about the new ‘the musketeers’ episodes (Article to season 1 you find here). The day i will not have an article about ‘the musketeers’, will be a Doctor Who Day. With everything: Audio dramas, books, and TV serie.
Mondays i will write again about the last remaining Arrow episodes (The other will you find here) and than that will be the day i update everything else.
Tuesday is the day for Broadchurch and Whensday when ‘The Flash’ starts it will be the Day for it.
The Sarah Jane Adventures will be every Whensday or Thursday.

I hope i will have for everyone something. So now i just need to say. You can always talk with me or ask me questions. Also i am also open for recommendations. So just write me.

Castle: Season 6

Hey Guys,

i watched with my parents the 6th season of Castle. So what to i think of it?

Long distance

I really, really love that they brought Castle and Beckett together i love them as a pair and they work just fine. But the season starts with a big problem. Becketts new job is in another town. So they start to have that longdistance relationship but it doesn’t really work. He has to do and can’t came a weekend and than she has something to do and so on. I think that is really realistic. Also we see another problem her job itself. Her job is topsecret and she can’t tell Castle any of this. This is one thing that bothers him and also that he is to curious and wants to know all the secrets.
We see this and there is just one solution and i am really happy that they never made it over a break up. The only solution is that Castle is moving to her.

Her job and the first episodes

What we see will not make her happy. This is not about not working with Castle or something like that. Because i think she really appreciate her new partner and they work good together. The Problem is that for one she don’t get the full picture. Beckett like to see the full picture. She don’t like things in the dark. Also when she worked for the police, she was angry about the people that decided to close a case because of what ever reason and now she is on the side to do that. That is something that would never made her happy. She doesn’t have more power. She is powerless against all the politics like she was with the police nothing changed.
I am happy that they brought her back. So Ryan and Esposito have a bigger role again. But for me i don’t see what this was all about?

The marrige

They whole serie is about planing the wedding and making this relationship work. It is fun to see them interact. Also it brings a lot of fun scenes, like Ryan and Esposito are fighting over being the best man for Castle. I love it. They have their problems and on one or two situations they thing if this is what they want. But what ever stands in there way, they getting over it. It is refreshing to see a relationship on TV that has the mean focus function like that.

The End

I watched the serie with my familie and my mother thought that that was the last season of Castle. She was starring at the TV when the end flicerd over it. “This is the last season! This is the last season!” It was dramatic but i could stop myself from laughing. She really believed that the serie Castle ends with his death on his wedding day. That would be such a sad end for the whole serie. But lukily this is not the last season and we all know that Castle is still alive.
