Person of Interest: Season 1

Hey Guys,

yeah i know i am really late with watching this show Person of interest. Everywhere the pictures of Root and Shaw were hunting me. When the final of the last season aired, everyone was talking about how perfect everything were. So i thought why not. I quite like both actors of this too. So i thought hey i will look into it. It turns out, that it is nothing like i thought.

Main Characters

So i thought that these two woman Root and Shaw are the main characters of the show. To clear that up tumblr is lying. Shaw doesn’t even play in the first season and Root is just apearing at the end. So yeah the show is totally not about them or at least the first season isn’t. So what is this serie about. We have 4 people that are important in this serie and i love all four of them. At first we have that soldier guy – John Reese. This is not his real name but at the start we know not much about except that he was a soldier and that he is good at killing people but he just wants to help people. That is the reason why Harold Finch – mostlike not his real name either – hire him. Harold is good with computers. After 9.11 (for germans 11.09) the goverment wanted a maschine who can see everything. This is what Harold and his best friend built. This maschine sees everything. It can see terroist acts and murder. Everything that is planed in some way the maschine sees. Because there are so much crime on earth and also the goverment just cares about the terrorist, every ‘normal’ murder is going on a unrelavante list. After Harold lost everything he decides to take that unrelavant list and help those people with John Reese help. Later more to that.
The other two persons are cops. Joss Carter is a really good cop, who can connect John after the first meeting with alot of crimes. But John is like ghost. So she starts chasing him.
The other cop is Lionel Fusko. He is a corruped cop and John spared his life. After that Fusko is working for Finch and John.

The Maschine and other mysteries

Finch is getting a number from the maschine. This number is the social number of a person. He doesn’t know if the number is from the victim or the perpetrator. So they try and find out more about this person and protect him or his victims from them. But that is not what makes the show so good. What stands behind it does. We know nothing about John Reese or Harold Finch. But the friendship that is starting building between them, the chemestry, the truth and distruth in each other is giving the show life. Also of course the mystery of the past of both of them. Both lost everything in one way or another. Slowing step for step we found out more about these two characters. Apart from that Carter and Fusko are easy to read. There is not much about their past as secretive as it is with the other two. But it is a nice contrast. Carter is the cop that takes her job serious. She believes in her job and in the law. Fusko doesn’t. But both are just want to help people. These two make a great team. So we have two great teams.

Watching or not

For the first half of the season i would have said no you don’t have to watch it. It is nice but nothing more, but that the episode became better and better. The characters grow on you and you want to know what is behind all that. The second part of the serie is so good. I watched none stop until i could held my eyes open anymore. So yes it is definitly a go and watch this serie. It is amazing and the final of the season only promised a even better season two. Which i will start right now… no i don’t have a problem and i am not addicted to the serie… maybe alittle.

DW: An unearthly child – rewatch

Hey Guys,

I started my rewatch of Doctor Who and of course i start at the beginning with ‘An earthly child’. Just the first minutes were enough to remember why i don’t like Susan and love Ian and Barbara. Truth be told the first episode was kinda boring. Of course it is iconic and i love it but the first thing that i had problems with was the tempo of the stories. This is the reason why i say the first episode of boring. When we watch new series there happens so much in the first episode. Here just happend nothing. It is not a bad thing. I needed a few stories but i begann to love it. The story has enough time to evelope and the characters has so much time to shine.

The characters

They are so many things why i fall in love with the classic stories and almost everthing is already in the first epiosde. First of all the characters. I love a full TARDIS. So many people. I am not a big fan of Susan. She is the granddaugther of the Doctor and is almost everytime screaming…
Ian and Barbara are teachers. I love them so much. They stand on their own feets and have their own opinions. They stand up to the Doctor and don’t take any of his shit.
The second think is the Doctor. He is not nice or a hero. When the serie started he is the opposite. He is grumpy and just want help himself. Everything the new Doctor is started here with Ian and Barbara that teached him this.

They said that the Doctor always has the same character traits but that is not complitely true. He become that man because he captured and took Ian and Barbara away with him. He wanted to protect himself and got family. But it is a really hard and long way. Especially Ian and the Doctor are always fighting with each other. But they change each other. But this is a little forward for this story. With the knowledge what is to come and everything else you can see all that stuff already in this first adventure.

Watching or not

The story is not the best. It started with a story of cavemen that search for a way to make fire. It gets harder to find something to eat and who can make fire is the leader. The tribe our friends met or get captured by has took in a outsider who wants to become the leader too. So the son of the old leader are fighting for this place. The story is developing slow and most of the time our friends get theirself captured again and again. The story has a few strong points when you get to see more inside of our characters but apart form this the story doesn’t have much to offer. Just look it and enjoy that the Doctor is so totally differnt form the NewWho.

That is also the reason i will every Fan of NewWho tell that they should go and watch the classics. Because this is the journay that made the Doctor the person he is now. It was a developement. Everything that happend to the Doctor is changing him. Every companion has their influence on him. But Barbara and Ian are the most important. They teach him to care about other, they teach him to help. This developement is so amazing to see. So go and watch the classic who stories.

Touch: Season 02

Hey Guys,

After the first season wasn’t my thing, i still watched season two. Season two is totally different than season one. It even got more like 24 with alot more supernatural. For me it lost the little bit of what it had here.

On the run or not

Jake and his father are on the run at least the first episode. Than they met the mother of Amelia and they start working with each other. They live in a house and try to find Amelia and Jake starts getting to school. It seems like totally normal life. The helping other people get lost in the background. It is more like find evidence against them and find Amelia.
Also the numbers get to much in the background for my liking. They are still there but more like a reminder or like oh yeah i need to open a door… what numbers showed Jake to me be crashing the microwave…

Big conspiracy

It seems like everyone is working for someone. There are at least four parties that are at work here. It all goes around the 36 – that are people that are like Jake. The police is also working with them and is no real help. So yeah… they fight against the big conspiracy with to girls and a news agency.
Also it seems like once the 36 made contact with each other the can talk with each other telepathic. The numbers will protect… I don’t know i like that concept.
I liked that he just sees everything in numbers and sees how they are connected. I miss the handy that has so many different videos on it from all over the world.

Watch or not

It is totally a don’t watch from me and i am really happy that Jake didn’t had time to tell us more… No third season and this is a good thing. But this is just my personal opinion. If someone watched the serie and has another opinion i would be happy to hear it maybe you can open my eyes and let me see a aspect of the serie i didn’t saw.

Detektiv Conan/ Closed Case: Movie 19

Hey Guys,

i am a big fan of Detektiv Conan or in english i think it is called Closed Case. I fall in love with it at the first episode and started to read the Manga. Now i have 88 volumes of the Manga standing in my cupboard and 19th movies – okay to are still missing because i wanted to have the special edition. But i think you can totally see that i love Conan. I don’t get tired of it like many of my friends. I love it still the same – when not even more – when i first watched it. For me didn’t lost any of his magic. A few characters – especially Ran – are problematic in a way that she is a really sweet girl and you would totally like her if this story wouldn’t play with out time. Her is getting on your nerves with Conan and Shinichi and she never get’s it. That is one problem of the lenght of it but everything else i love. The most of course Heiji and Kaito Kid (a pair i ship instat of Shinichi and Kaito). I started even watching Kaitos own Anime Kaito Kid/Magic Kaito. The movies are always nice to watch and like you all can think now the ones with Kaito Kid are my favorites.

Still nice but doesn’t satisfy

Normaly the only point at the Conan movies i don’t really like (but just because i can’t japanese) are the quiz of the Professor. They are always word quiz that only function in japanese. But this movie is a little disapointing. I have high standards and the Conan Movies got better from Movie to Movie. Sadly this was a step back. The story is quite nice. It is about the sunflowers of Van Gogh (here can learn something xP).
Than Kaito Kid seems to want to steal the sunflowers that Sonokos grandfather bought or not?
Because is not stealing them. He is just making a big show out of it. That everyone would think that he is just promoting Sonokos grandfather.
But until than everything is fine. Kid got a show and we love him for it and when he came on board as Shinchi we all know that this will be fun. Than the let down starts.

Spoilers – Conans failure

Kaito Kid is a kind of a person that is acting like he has a code. He is only stealing juwels and he is always giving them back (without money). Everyone who nows him apart from Detektiv Conan/Closed Case, knows that he is only stealing us Kaito Kid because he search for a special juwel, which was the reason for death of is father. He wants to find them. This is his motivation. Of course he also has fun with it but this stands behind it. Kaito Kid is also someone who will try to save everyone he can and Conan totally know that. He made Kid at so many occasions. Kaito Kid saved Conans life on regular basis. He came to a wizard meeting to stop a murder. This kind of guy is Kid and Conan knows that.
So why his he not knowing that something totally different is going on? Kaito Kid stealing a picture? Kaito Kid should be responisble for an exploision a plane? That is stupid and Conan should know that. Conan should also know that Kid would not want money. He should know that something different is going on but he doesn’t. He take the whole movie to find out what we knows from the start. Kaito is not stealing the picture, he is protecting them and something totally different is going on there. The whole freaking movie. Kaito is acting as Shinichi. This alone should tell Conan that something is going on.
Also the whole case doesn’t get closed by Conan. No Kaito is telling him everything that is going on. So he is just telling everyone what Kid told him. That is a detektiv… also the last quiz of Kid was quite obvious. With all the hints to the apostels and the picture of the communion from Da Vinci. He should have getting behind the quiz earlier. The only good thing about this is that Kid is seeing at the same and tells Conan that he thought that Conan would come behind the quiz faster.

The movie should wear the name Detektiv Conan/Closed Case it should be called Kaito Kid. Because he did all the work. Closed the case, got the evidence, saved the pictures and saved Ran…and Conan just ran after him without even having a clue what really is going on there.

Watching or not (still with spoilers)

So yeah watch it for Kaito Kid, but still one point left that i dislike. The solution is unsatisfied. The motive of the murderer is quite stupid… i mean really stupid…
Also the way Kaito Kid found out about what is going on is not quite satisfied. But this can also be that the translation wasn’t quite right or not clear enough. But in german it sounds like Kid got an Whats Up acount as Kaito Kid and everybody can call him and give him jobs.

The only thing that would made sense would be if he got the job from his butler and he wanted to steal the pictures for him and when he researched and spoted everything out he found out about the other thing. It is not the best solution, it still doesn’t make totally sense but better than someone leaving him a voice mail…

Touch: Season 1

Hey Guys,

here we go again… me and my parents just watching the first thing we found on Netflix – Touch. We had seen episodes of it before. We are not sure if we saw the whole thing or just half. But we started watching when it was first aired in Germany. Actually it is just not my thing. My parents wanted to watch because of Kiefer Sutherland. It was in that phase, when my father bought every Kiefer Sutherland film he saw. The serie is kinda like 24 – Kiefer Sutherland runing around and his kind never does what it should. That are all of the simularise.

Stop joking…

Communication

The story is about a father with a kid that is a challenge. He doesn’t like to be touched and hits around when they do. He doesn’t speak and is mostly writing numbers. The father is overwhelmed with work and is son on his own. This is when the social security office steps in to check if he can care for him or not. The kid – the name is Jake – sees the world different. He sees things in numbers. He sees the bigger picture. He gives his father numbers and he must find out what they mean. It can be anything… a flight number or a time. Sometimes it is just everything at ones. All these people are connected with each other. Things on the other half of the world are effecting the events.

Does this lead?

The first season shows us that everything is somehow conacted and that there are others like Jake (the kid). Someone want these people. But we does get more. Season one is just showing us a little piece of the picture and when you think in the final everything will lead now together, it doesn’t. You don’t get any answers or no what it is that actually is going on. This is not totally a bad thing. It make you look the next season just to see if the second season will give us answers. But the whole episodes are not very emotional for me. They don’t get me. Destiny is not enough to make me interessted.

Look or not

It is really hard decision. The serie is not bad. It is okay to watch, but either the story nor the characters capture me in any way. There is no character that i love. They just all their. Some stories are sweet but they don’t break my heart or make me feel warm. I just watch it and than it is over and you just can stop watching without the feeling of missing something.
So if you don’t have anything else to watch, than watch this but if you have another serie you may stay with that serie. I won’t rewatch this serie… so this is for me a not watching.

Veronica Mars: The Movie

Hey Guys,

This is the end of my addiction of Veronica Mars. The serie got me with one character – Logan Echollos. In the first episode of season one it was Weevil who made me watch until we see a little more of the different sides of Logan.

Piz?

When i moved on, i fall in love even more with Logan and Weevil and until the end i hoped to see a friendship between them. But i also fall in love with the many other characters – Cliff, Mac, Mag, Vinny and even Lamb. Yes i loved him too.
One person i never get warm with is Piz.
Okay, many of it is just this name. Who calls himself Piz?
Piz is a really nice guy. So nice… and i really don’t want to write it because it is bullshit in a way… He is too nice. I believe that there is nothing like that but he is like that. Always nice and always accepting any choice. He is not a fighter. Of course you have to accept a no but if you really carr for someone you fight for this person.
Also I don’t like the way he acted when Logan was around.
But this is not the thematic of this article.

When the serie ended you left all this people you began to love and doesn’t know what happend to them. So everyone who loved these characters should watch the movie to see where they end.
We met alot of people again and see what their lifes became. What bugged me the most of Wallace as a teacher in High School. What happend to engeniering?

9 years later

What happend in the movie. The movie plays nine years after the serie. Veronica changed her life completely. She is one the way to become a lawyer and has a normal ‘boring’ life. This is so not Veronica. But that is kinda the point. When Logan gets accused of murder again. He calls Veronica for help and of course she came. This time she actually trust Logan what is a nice change.
But the murder is not the only thing going on in that town. The police is corrupt and plant wrong evidence and terrorize the poor people in town. Not the 09ners of course. We all know from the other three seasons rice people never comitt crimes.
I don’t want to tell to much. Sadly the Movie doesn’t really talk about ther organization Veronica finds out about. This would be really interesting.
But the story function. She is nothing great but works like the serie very well and everything else came with the amazing characters which all met at the class reunion.

What starts like a totally not Veronica Mars story ends like one and you know what ever happens now Veronica Mars is back and she is there to stay.

Veronica Mars: Season 3

Hey Guys,

welcome to the third season of Veronica Mars and Logan and her actually stay together and don’t break up in the first episode. Which makes it for me a great season. But i am pretty sure it can’t stay that way.

Epic LoVe Story

This season shows us how much they love each other and how great the can be when just work a little for it. It shows us how bad they are for each other. Logan lost alot in the the seasons before. He is broken and lonely. He needs someone that believes him, someone who trust him. But Veronica can’t do this for him. Logan needs someone he can protect but Veronica can’t give him that. She can’t trust. She is controlling and needs to see things with her own eyes before she believes it. She is strong and can’t accept real help. She needs the danger and jumps right in, but Logan lost so much already he can’t lose her too. The are so good together and at the same so bad for each other. The constantly are hurting each other.
But this is totally the season for me. This what makes the season so good.

Great Story

This season the big case is the rape that already became a theme in season two. The case as alot little sidestories. Sadly a few thematics didn’t get enough time. But it is a really good story with really bad guys and not so bad people doing really bad things. It has alot of gray characters and this is what i likes the most. Sadly the story doesn’t goes like all the other over the whole season. The last few episodes are showing us something bigger something i really want to know more about but we don’t get it. Sadly the second storyline is ending with the serie and doesn’t give any answers.

So except for the ending that was really horrible because this is no way to end a serie. The season is as good and amazing as the other two season and should be watched. Now i just have to watch the movie.

Class: Episode 1-2 (Doctor Who Spin-Off)

Hey Guys,

everyone i am sure heart about the Doctor Who Spin-Off Class. Actually i loved many spin-offs. Torchwood was an amazing and really crappy show in the beginning. The first episode was the worst i had seen in a while. As i remember correctly the first episode i liked was the fourth episode. I also loved Sarah Jane Adventures and i have to say here i fall in love way faster. It had an amazing friendship between Clyde and Luke and it had Sarah Jane. Some episode were way deeper and more horrible than Doctor Who and it didn’t even try to be such dark show.
So with all that and the fact that Doctor Who just lost so much for me in the past years, i was really excited about this new Spin-Off. I am not sure what to think about this serie but it did a lot right and also wrong.

Can a Spin-Off work with out the Doctor

Let’s start with the point i disliked about the first episode the Doctor. It is not the Doctor per se. I love the Doctor and i love Capaldi and he does a good job in this episode as the Doctor. But i think the Spin-Off would have worked fine without him. I hate the i make you to the protect of that rift… this is stupid and they are just teenagers. He is like ‘hey guys, aliens that want to kill you will come throw that thing and you will deal with it and protect the others. Use your heads.Bye.’ How stupid is that? They know nothing about aliens about aliens or how to fight them, how to get information about them. Nothing. UNIT, Torchwood, Sarah Jane they all had sources and stuff to figure things out… but teenagers don’t need any of this just use your heads?! Sure this is what makes this so bad…

The choosen group

I like for now everyone of that group especially Ram and Tanja and their friendship. Is it to much to hope that they just stay good friends? Tanja is the brain. She is intelligent and way younger than the others. Ram is the sportsman, which have to deal with a robotic leg. These two were be friends before all that stuff happend. I think they didn’t talk in school about when they are at home they are chating and talking alot. Than we have April the nice girl. She is dealing with that crap alot better than others. Because she has a great role model. She just accept that there are things you have to take because you can’t change them.
The last two are aliens. Charlie is a prince of a race that good murdered. He and this protector are the only ones that survived. He is the nerdboy that doesn’t know anything about the world. Luke asked his friends and Charlie is googling everything he don’t understand. The last of the group is Ms Quill. She is the protector or slave of Charlie. Even when i think she deserve punishment i agree with here that this is like a slave. But Charlie doesn’t treat her like that and she doesn’t act like that. So i don’t know what to think about this all.

What i don’t understand why Charlies boyfriend is not part of this group. He was there too when everything happend. He tried to help too and he was there when the Doctor tell them that they all now in charge. But it seems that he is just the boyfriend what excatly is a point i dislike about these two episodes. He could be part of the group and there is no reason why he isn’t.

Watching or not

The story is still needing time to find their way. The show is still struggling for what it wants to be, but i think every Doctor Who Spin-Off did that. So i will give the serie a few more episodes. Beside the episodes are way better than the start of Torchwood…
The characters are sympathic and you can really understand all of them. The serie make sure to make the characters believeable and loveable and does a very good job in my eyes with it. So it is for me a totally watching.

Veronica Mars: Season 2

Hey Guys,

i wanted to make a break between the first season and the second of Veronica Mars. But with that ending i just had to look the next season. The gifs held there promise and Logan became my favorite person. I really love Logan over everyone in the serie even Weevil – who still have to little screen time.

My crazy love

Logan had a really hard time in season one and actually nobody didn’t really help him. His bestfriend is giving him up and what ever he said it was because Logans father has killed his sister. He left Logan alone the moment he got together with Veronica. It is really unfair that Logan tried to do everything right after the death of his Mum. They more i look the more i begann dislike Duncan. He is such a asshat friend. Also he has so little emotion… and i don’t see any chemistry or anything between him and Veronica. What he does remember me alot of stalking and then she was still with Logan.

You see that i am totally in love with Logan and i just want to hug him and tell him everything will be good. Because it seems like nobody is doing this. So i really cross with everyone that let him alone. Yes Veronica too… no i take that back i am extremly cross with her. Because she goes back to Duncan… can she not wait even alittle bit more than just a few weeks? She most totally be in love with him…Sorry you see how much i love him. This season will be so much pain for me. I just want him happy and maybe even a little Weevil Logan get back together and become kinda friends?

Big Cases

Like in the first season here is a big case. Okay kinda two cases. In the end of first season Logan got accused to killed a friend of Weevil. So this is one of the mystery of the next season. Also we have a bus crash, where many people found their death and Veronica was just lucky to be not at the bus. Sadly the first part with Logan and Weevil has way to little screen time. Am i objective? No totally not, i am so not objective.

Tokyo Ghoul √A

Hey Guys,

the first season of ‘Tokyo Ghoul’ got me very fast, but the second season ‘Tokyo Ghoul √A’ is not so convincingly. When i started watching the second season i hadn’t read the Manga yet. So i can’t say if it is better or not as that. But what i can say is that the Anime is going a differnet way than the Manga.

Kaneki

The last season endend with Kaneki on a crossroad. He thinks that he needed to change and do bad things when it is for the rigth reasons.
So he eat Jason, who had tortured him and joins the group Aogiri. This decision is not really explained. It kinda comes out of nowhere. Jason, who also was a member of the Aogiri tortured him and Kaneki accepts not is Ghoul part but Riz from which he has the organs. This is a big differents. So he beginns to eat Jason, but why he came from that to joining the same group is behind me. I am sure that it has something to do with protecting who is important to him. Because if that is not the case it doesn’t get along with the character we already knew.
But we got very, very little scense with him.

Antique

We see alot about Toka and Himori. It is alot talking and very slow. Toka is not one of my favorite but it is alot about the girls living with Kanekis decision. Nishiki is getting also very little screen time.
But i definitly want more of Hide. He seems to know alot more than he let on. For me it is clear that he heart the conversation in the first season from Kaneki and the owner of the Antique. So he knows that Kaneki is a Ghoul. But it seem like i am the only one that seems to see it that way.

Alot of unanswered questions

We got alot new characters and the backstories are mostly really amazing. But i am sad that the old characters fall into the background and we got not enough information about the new persons. So much doesn’t make sense. Why are so many humans now Ghouls? Why would anyone do something like that? What has the whole storyline from the first part of the second season to do with the second part which is emotionally amazing and really good. Also it brings us characters back to the person they were.

Watching or not

Truth be told. If a season 3 will come i will be watching. This season was big let down for me. It is not that apparently the story is different form the Manga. I have no problem with that. My problem is that the decision is not logic and that we don’t get an explaination for it. We got so many new characters so many plotlines that ends nowhere. The last part of the season is emotionally bringing me down. It is final that makes my cry and break down it is for me the niveau of the first season but it doesn’t conacted with the first part of this season for me? Why is Kaneki now going back when we not even know he even started to leave. What was the reason for all the characters we never say again and never get really explained like the twins? Why are they Ghouls when they were human. Who made them Ghouls. Have i missed a few episodes? Because all that doesn’t make any sense for me. So yes i would watch it but it is totally a don’t watch this season…
