Torchwood: Broken

Hey Guys,

Big Finish showed me again why i love them so much the newest Torchwood adventure Broken is what i waited for. The first season of Torchwood is leaving so much holes. Sometimes you ask yourself what happend between the episodes. Their is a book ‘The Torchwood Archieve’ that gives us a little more background information about what happend between but it was never enough. But here we get everything that happend between Jack and Ianto.

Jumps

Normally i am not a fan of time jumps. I think it destroys the flow. But here i really like it. It starts after the episode with Lisa – ‘The Cyberwoman'(Episode S01x04). It plays after my favorite episode ‘Countryside’ (S01x06). Most of the story plays after ‘Greeks Bearing Gift’ and before ‘They keep killing Suzie’.
It shows us how Ianto is trying to deal with Lisas death and come to terms with working with Jack and actually start sleeping with him. We got so much more inside of Ianto Jones and that is always good. Because Ianto is so precious.

New friendships

Ianto find himself in a bar and talking to a bar maid – Mandy. She becomes someone he goes for advice. We see him deal poorly with what happend. He founds himself in a really dark place. We not see often that dark side of Ianto Jones. I actually don’t want to tell more. That just they are investigating missing people and it is just awesome.
Just get the adventure and hear for yourself. This is an amazing story about our broken Ianto Jones and how he get ready to fall in love with Jack. This is were they really start.

Ianto Jones and Jack Harkness forever. I always gonna miss them. I always gonna miss Ianto Jones. He saved Jack in very special way and his death has utterly broken him. I will always find tears for them.

The Tenth Doctor Adventures: Death and the Queen

Hey Guys,

here we go with my favorite adventure in this Volume of the Tenth Doctor Adventures – Death and the Queen. Of course it is again the tenth Doctor and Donna Noble and plays in Goritania. It is not clear in what time it plays.

Donna and the man

Donna is such a strong character but she always tried to define herself above a man. So he got often used by them. Like Lance did in the christmas special. Here Donna is meeting a prince that fall in love with her and want to marry her.
All Donna always wished for. But the life is not what she wants. She has armee, glamour and will be a queen. But everything is just to much for her. A fairytale that for Donna is more than a nightmare but she never let any of that show to the Doctor.

Goodbyes

So Donna is struggling with her fairytale life and the Doctor with getting to get left again. First Rose and than Martha. Donna was the one he believed would stay with him. Because he didn’t fall in love with her and she didn’t fall for him. They are just best friends traveling together. So the Doctor hoped that she would stay. This Doctor is such an emotional person that can’t deal with loneliness.

Why i love them

Both are dealing with their typical problems in such a way that is so them. But the best thing is the way the Donna always saves the Doctor and everyone around her. She doesn’t believe in herself. She needs to define herself above man but in the end she is stronger than everyone. She is ready to protect her kingdom at all cost. Not much persons care so much for people and are ready to sacrifice so much for people she just shortly know.
For a person that define herself about man, she isn’t getting any shit for them. She does what he things is right and is always showing them into their border. She can fight that war on her own and would win.

Hopefully we will get a Volume 2 of The Tenth Doctor Adventures.

DW: Circuliar Time

Hey Guys,

here we go with the 91th big finish main range adventure ‘Circular Time’ with the fifths Doctor and Nyssa. The story consists out four shot stories named after the seasons. The story very different and i like the last two much more than the first. This four stories plays to differnt times. But the last story plays in the same time like the last story of the fifths Doctor.

Spring

The Story is about a meeting with another time lord. A time lord that left his planet to see the world. He stays on a planet with birdlike people and become something like their god. In this culture see things different. When someone did something bad, the one that got the punishment is the one closed to the one who did it.
Nyssa is offend by this. Also she is really shocked that the Doctor was exciled.
This story is about how a time lord is take his place as a good and trick the Doctor.

Summer

This is totally differnet story it plays one earth the Doctor and Nyssa got arrested because they wanted to pay with the wrong currency. Because he got to met Issac Newton. Someone that stoped being a alchemist. He is a difficult person. Which overthings everything and also got just out of the currency that they are time travlers and from earth. He looks at all the details and set them to new picture.

Autumn

This is really quieted story. It is about Nyssa and the Doctor making a pause. The Doctor plays cricket and Nyssa is writting a novel about herself, about Traken. Nyssa is meeting a man who is interessted in her and is going out with her. They talk about her writting and he is interessted in her. Also is she telling him the truth about her home planet but he don’t really believe her. It is lovely to see this side of Nyssa.

Winter

The last story plays in Nyssa future. It is after Terminus. She has know a husband and little baby. She found her luck and it is nice. But than she beginn to dream about the past and something gave her a special feeling so she use the dream maschine of her husband to find out what it is. The Doctor lived in a farm house and has children and a wife. He doesn’t really remember her.

DW: Year of the pig

Hey Guys,

welcome to the 90th big finish main range adventure ‘Year of the pig with the sixth Doctor and Peri. The Story plays in the year 1913. It is a very special episode. It will never be my favorite. But it has something i can hardly explain.

Tobe and the inspector

Tobe is a pig that is always eating and his nurse is watching the other guests of the hotel and describe it to him. He is not just a pig, he is a famous pig and has a few very special fans. One we meet is an lady that infollwing Peri and the Doctor in everything.
The inspector is a very special person. He is really not sympathic. The Doctor and Peri saves him from drowning. So he searches the contact to these two. But he is hiding something.

The problem with this story is that it is so special that i am afraid that i write the wrong thing and everyone knows what is the solution to this abstruse story. About pigs, experiments, time travel, emenies and friends. I always have the feeling that i over heard something. How the go to place to place. For me it is a pile of chaos that does shows everything.

The Tenth Doctor Adventures: Time Reaver

Hey Guys,

here we go with the second adventure of the Tenth Doctor Adventures Vol 1 – Time Reaver. Of course this is the tenth Doctor and Donna who go and have another adventure. This adventure takes part in Calibris which is a space port. It is playing before the ‘Silence in the Library’. In the end of the story he tells her that her next stop should be the library.

What is going on?

A girl get lost and falls in the end of very bad aliens. It goes about a weapon that make a few seconds so much longer. It is like two seconds are two hours for the person. The girl is not the only victim of them. It is a terrible weapon and everyone seemed to want that weapon.
But also is this story like the story before. It is not what it seems. In the end there is something totally different go on with that weapon.

Relationship

Donna have a new way to shine in this story. I love Donna always the most when she shows us how she take care about the people around her. She is loud and direct but she really cares so much about everyone. Here we see her take care about the girl that got abducted. She doesn’t judge Cora for the stupid thing that she does. She understand her, what she wanted to archieve.

Spoilers – what weapon can do

This story is about two sides of the same coin. It is about what good can something do and what at the same time to more harm than good. A weapon that make out of seconds hours. The worst feeling when you are in pain but what happend if when you are happy – you are longer happy. Isn’t that a good thing when you know your time is counted? Is it worth the risk of some one using it for evil? The story reminds me of of the book we read in german lesson – the physicist.

I loved the first episode more but it is still a really good story. So listen to it. I try to write about the next and last adventure as soon as possible. It is my favorite story of the box.

DW: No Man’s Land

Hey Guys,

here we go with the 89th big finish main range adventure ‘No Man’s Land’ with the seventh Doctor and Ace and Hex. With Hex bad luck they land again in the time of war. This time it is the first world war it plays in 1917. They got an job to investigate a murder that didn’t take place yet in a militäry hospital.

Same Story over and over again

We know the Story. It is war and everyone wants to win it. Some people are ready to do anything for it. They want to make the soldier stronger. To give them a killer instinct, to take feelings away… in the end the humans always end to create something like cybermen. Of course their are no cybermen in this story but they are on the way. It is a step to this path.
But it is almost everytime a good story. We know what will happen and we know the Doctor is against it. The Doctor that wants to stop it.

Strength

This is about strength. What is strength and this is what i love about Doctor Who. Because Doctor Who is always (almost) telling you that strength has nothing to do with killing people. Don’t kill people is a strength. Hex is a man that many people accuse to be weak. Hex is against war and killing. He hates this war times. But he is not weak. He maybe don’t can defeat a soldier in a fight but he strong because he wants to help people and save them. He wants to make the world better. He is not afraid of getting in danger. He does it when things that it will help. But he is not running into danger. Hex is an amazing character and i really love the stories with him.

DW: Memory Lane

Hey Guys,
welcome to the 88 adventure – Memory Lane – of big finish main range with Charley and C’rizz and of course the eigtht Doctor. The story doesn’t give us a particialar date. When you go after the names and things Kim – one of the astronauts that the Doctor meet in the story – know. She must live somewhere 2010 (that is where the AHistory put it) and the story takes places two hundred twenty-seven years after Kim and her crew are departed from earth. This means it whould be 2237 or something like this. C’rizz is telling about the TARDIS and prisons so it is shortly after ‘Something inside’.

Prison again

The three are finding themself in a prison again. But were the story of ‘Something inside’ was dark and deep. This story is light and funny. The land in the living room of an old lady which doesn’t react in anyway than that they stay in her way to watch tv or the Doctor go of to buy ice cream. At first they think they are on the countryside but than the find out that every house not just looks the same. In every house is living the same old woman.
So the atmosphere is totally different to the adventure before.

Cell changes

The Cell is creating a really little world. At some point the cell is taking Charlies memories and create her childhood home. So we find out a little more about her past life. Which is really lovely to know more about her. She was a sweet kid. The Doctors world is just him and the other two asking about the Doctors victory. Again here is C’rizz the one how saves them again. C’rizz mind is something special and get always shown to us.

There is not much to say about it. The story is nice and as funny scenes. But it is nothing special. It is just another not bad episode of Doctor Who.

The Musketeers: S03x03

Hey Guys,

the new episode of the musketeers seems to be one of the perfect musketeers episodes. The only thing it clearly lakes is Mylady and saddly it seems like this will not change in this season or ever again when you thing about that this is the last season of the musketeers.

Fighting for the king

This episode is just amazingly perfect. The Musketeers seems so tired of doing their job. They of course do what the King demands but they know by now really well what person the king is. They know that the injustice pratice by the royal will not be punished. They know the king will not mourn the people that died because of the acting of his brother in a pub. They all seems so tired of that game that they are playing with the red garde. Constance on the other hand is playing it very well.

The King intentions

We got to know why the King act strange these season. He is dying and it makes him think about alot of things. About who will protect his son. It is sad that the king thinks not much about his kingdom even when it is sweet that he will risk everything to do what he thinks is the right thing to protect his son. But the best about this scene is Treville. He know the king a long time. He know his flaws to good. He fought him so many time, so he will do the right choices and still does. But he always wanted the best for him. They are friends. The knowledge that the king will die is making him cry and it is so sad to see him keeping his word and try to make everything right again.

Not as good…

I am really sorry but his big bad this season doesn’t get me. He is just there and i can just look at him in disinteresst. Capaldi made me hate Cardinal Richelieu in an instant. But he had so much deep and as bad and evil he was, he always wanted the best for France. He was just amazing. Rochefort i really liked. I felt with him and his one-sided love and they way he tried to get close to her. Until he snapped and really went crazy and you just could pity him and wish he will send to hell for what he did to Anne. But still feel a little bit sorry for him, because spanish broke him.
But this bad guy is just there is making a few bad comments and this is all… i hope that will change.
The other thing is and you will hear this probably every episode form now one, is that Mylady was missing. The episode was good and would be amazing without Mylady and you wouldn’t had missed her so much. Because the musketeers fighting the red garde, choosing the right side again, Constance totally saving the Day. This episode was really good. But than they had to bring Sylvi in again. They can totally do that. I don’t have a problem with her. But i have a problem with her flirting with Athos. The love between Mylady and him was so big, intense and distroying that nobody of them will ever get over this. When he didn’t loved her more than anything than he hated her more than anything – or himself for still loving her – but which way it was she was always the most important person in his life. He chose her again after everything. He never could let go of her. He would never not choose her. Even when he know everything would ended liked that, he would choose her. These two are tied together. They can love each other, hate each other but they can never really life without each other. Sylvi flirting with him and he flirting back is the so against everything we saw in the other two seasons and i don’t want it.

Torchwood: Moving Target

Hey Guys,

welcome to the newest Torchwood adventure – Moving Target.This is adventure is with Susie Costello. I never liked her and i don’t thing the adventure will change that but we will be open about it. The story is obviously playing before first season were Susie is still alive on earth.

Before she fall

The Comettee is giving the earth free as hunting ground for aliens. The whole earth seems to stand still. Just Susie and a other woman seems to can be moving. Susie seems to be an accident and the woman is the person that is hunting. Susie and Alex – that is the other woman – are teaming up. This is not just before season one that is in a time she lost her believe in the humans, before she lost herself to the unkown. Alex is a completely different person than Susie. She is not having much self-esteem. She tries to make herself important through a husband and kid… she is using the still stand of the world to do everything. She sees it as an opportunity to be free of everything and do stuff you would never do.

What makes this is a great story is that we see the Susie Costello we all know in the end or a part of this person she will become like the robot that is always around tells us. Now we understand the future a little more.
