DW: Eight Doctor: The Time War Series 1 – One Life

Hey Guys,

welcome to the fourth and last past of the Time War Series 1 – One Life. I really love this part of this story. It is the end of the action from the other parts. This has a lot feelings in it and that is why I like it. I wished so hard for a happy ending for them.

Escape

They whole story is about escaping. The group and Ollistra escaping the Daleks. The renegade escaping the war. It is all about escaping about running and hiding. This is what war is doing to them. Escaping the Daleks is for him the side story. It is to make things dramatic, to stop the renegade from running. The really story. The Story I love so much is the story about two person in love running away from their problems, away from the war. Two people how just what to be so desperately happy with each other.

Listing or not

So my conclusion about the time war series is that I definitely will buy the other boxes too. There are planned 4 Volumes f this series. The story is great and full of hopelessness and hope. About sacrifice and the value of one life. This isn’t about the fight of the Time Lords against the Daleks. This about the people who comes into the crossfire. It is about a Doctor who doesn’t want to be part of this war. So yeah go and listen to the story.

Extras

After every adventure is the soundtrack of the story. It is by the way amazing music. In the last adventure is like most times another CD with Extras. You got Behind the scenes material in form of interviews for example Paul McGann. The material is ca one hour-long. So I am sure there is a lot interesting stuff on it.

Shadowhunters: Rewatch for Season 3

Hey Guys,

welcome to my rewatch of Shadowhunters. Truth be told I am not a really big fan of the story. But the characters are great. Also I think that the story got a lot better in season 2 than it had been in season 1. Truth be told this is already the second rewatch I did of the series. Soo… I will let this stand like this. Just one think this will of course hold spoilers for season 1 and 2.

The most unbearable character

Season 1 of Shadowhunters was tiring in a lot of ways. Jace is impossible to bear in the first season. He is an asshole to everyone around him except to Clary. He thinks he is so much better than Simon. It is really annoying how much he tries to belittle Simon. He treats Alec his Parabtai like a dog. He has to do everything that Jace say, but god forbid that Alec has an opinion on his own. For me he is one of the worst characters in season one.
The way I see him changes in the last few episodes of the first season. It starts after the big fallout of Alec and Jace. They way Jace tries to repair their relationship is… so wrong in many ways. For the sentence ‘I saved you from yourself’ I wanted to hit him just like Alec did. I am not saying that Alec made the right choice. Obviously Lydia and the Clave were ‘overreacting’ and this could have started the war. This is not about right and wrong. It is about the way that Jace thinks that he is the one who always chooses the right pass. Izzy nearly paid the price for Clary and his stunts. But like I said this episodes changes the way I see Jace. Because we see him actually worry about Alec. We actually see him be happy for Alec.
In season 2 he isn’t treating Alec like a dog anymore. He is respecting him and following him. I am still not a big fan of Jace. He is to overdramatic and I still hate the way talks sometimes to Simon.
This episode in season two were Simon has his first date with Maia? Why does he have to do this? If I had the choice between him and Simon. I would always choose Simon. You are not that great Jace. He is broken, doesn’t know who he is and acts so overdramatic all the time.
But also I feel with him. Because he feel so bad for loving Clary. It is really hard for him and also I like the friendship that starts between him and Magnus.
Maybe some day I will really start liking Jace. But still next time the bad guy tells you that you and Clary are siblings just make DNA test… I am sure Izzy could have done it.

My favorite person in the world

Alec Lightwood – always in Jace shadow. I already talked about the relationship between Jace and Alec in the part before. The way Jace treated him at the start is the worst, but Alec always let him do this. He tries to talk back to make Jace see his point but in the end he always do it Jace way. The truth is he is not dealing well with the new situation around Clary. But he is right. They have no reasons to believe Clary. They have no reason to believe her. I don’t say that Jace is wrong for helping her. But they should at least thing about what is actually going on. Alec is the one that things further. Not just in season 1. When Sebastian starts to appear in the institute he questioned Sebastian. He sees that there are to many coincidences. Sadly later he starts trusting him.

The reason I fall in love with Alec is his love for his family. The way he treats Izzy. The way he would do everything for his family. He is closed of but he loves so deeply. Sadly he is also always paying the price for Jace and Clarys decision and Jace doesn’t seems to see it – Clary doesn’t either but she actually doesn’t know how this world works.
I hate that everyone is giving him a hard time for choosing to marry Lydia. Of course it is the wrong choice. She is actually the right choice if he wouldn’t be gay. He and Lydia make a great team. Of course people need to tell him that what he does is wrong but not like Izzy and Jace does it. More like Magnus.
I read that many people had a problem with Lydia accepting the proposal with the knowledge of Alecs feelings for Magnus. I don’t see it as that bad. Both of them are people who are making decisions with their head. This marriage was from the start just an alliance. They both are more than clear that they do it so they can keep the institute.
Alec made that choice on his own. He asked her and she is accepting that decision. She chooses support Alec to do what he wants to do and that is sadly not being happy but restoring the family name and leading the institute.
I really wish we would see more about the friendship of Lydia and Alec. Because they make a great team and I love to see them together as friends.

In season 1 Alec makes so many bad and wrong choice. In season 2 he actually changes that. He does make mistakes. Asking Magnus for a hair wasn’t his best hour. But he sees his mistake – truth be told nobody sees the error in this and when the shipping comes up Alec is speaking against it. He does see the errors in the Clave decisions and in himself. He also is going to accept his mistake and apologize to Magnus for it.
Alec learns from his mistakes and works on him. He does a lot right in the relationship with Magnus. He tries to balance his relationship with Magnus and his role as the head of the New Yorker Institute. That brings me to Magnus.

The High Warlock

Magnus is an amazing character and obviously I love the relationship between him and Alec. How they grow closer and the respect they have for each other. I love that we see him in season two interact with Luke and Raphael so much more,  that we see him in a storyline beside being with Alec, that we see his other relationships, that we learn more about the character and his past and I hope that there is more to follow.
We see him with the other characters and in a relationship with Alec. Magnus is a really good boyfriend. But he doesn’t be the High Warlock. He attend this meetings as Alecs boyfriend and not as the High Warlock. Alec tries to balance both. But Magnus seems to forget that he is more than Alecs boyfriend. Like he lost himself in this feelings for Alec.
And when he realized it he makes a big mistake. He chooses the easy way. He chooses to give Alec up. I get that he is angry at Alec, but I still think that Alec did the right choice – right choice is not the right way to say it. I think that Alec had legit reason to not tell Magnus. There is and has to be a line between personal life and business. It is a fact that you can’t tell you partner everything. Total transparency was a little to high goal. This information about the soulsword could start a war. In the end it nearly did.
What I don’t understand is why he let himself blend like that from the Seelie Queen. He knows the Seelie Queen most likely better than Luke but still it seems that Luke has the better grip of who she is. I don’t get why they choose the way of the Seelie Queen. Because yes it makes them save from Valentin. But does it really make a different if the dying in a war against the Shadowhunters?
But what is worse is the way he let the Queen treat him. He is the High Warlock of Brooklyn not her dog and still it got worse. That they refuse to help the Shadowhunters, that they rise a barrier that will kill every Shadowhunter that try to leave the town or want into the time without telling the Shadowhunters? This is innocent death are on Magnus hands.
Also all the people on the graveyard could be still alive if they all would have worked together. I don’t get it.
Also I hate that Magnus doesn’t make it clear that the break up is not Alecs fault. I hate that Alec again apologize. But I am happy that they are back together.

The annoying red head

Clary is annoying and I hate how she always brings everyone in danger. I really understand that she is overwhelmed by everything. But why can’t she not just stop for one second and think? She is an untrained shadowhunter, how can she think that she and Jace can stop Valentine on their own? It is so annoying. As much as I understand that she can’t sit still, it is so annoying to see her overestimate herself.
What I love about her is that she is thanking Alec. That she is actually trying to talk with Alec about his feelings for Jace. I love the fragile friendship that forms between them.
In season 2 Clary calms down a little bit.

Izzy and Raphael

Truth be told even when I love Izzy she got on my nerves in season 2. This whole addiction storyline is tiring. It is good that they didn’t take the easy way out. This is an important theme and needs to be handled showing it realistic. There are these little details like Simon with this groups. I love that she tells Alec about it and he just accept it as something she needs. But it is hard to see her tell Alec that he didn’t even notice that she wasn’t okay. He asked her and yes he should have tried harder to get her to talk about it. But his head is so full with so much stuff. It is hard to see her think that Alec would be disappointed in her. When all he feels are just worries about her. He just wants that she gets better.
It is so hard to see her dragging Raphael down with her.

Raphael is of course not innocent in this because he shouldn’t have given it to her – not even once. I saw a lot of people who thought that Raphael and Izzy are a sweet pair. But I couldn’t see them like that. The relationship they are in is so destroying and wrong. This has nothing to do with being sweet. They are addicted to each other and bringing each other down.
As much has I hate Sebastian to hurt Raphael with telling him that he is not good for Izzy, but he is right. They shouldn’t be together. It is not that I have anything against them as a pair. But they can’t.

There a lot of characters I didn’t talk about but I still love – like Maia. I really hope they will have a lot of screen time in the next season of Shadowhunters.

Manhunt: Unabomber

Hey Guys,

welcome to the series Manhunt: Unabomber. I am a big fan of that profiling stuff. I found it really interesting. So when I saw this ‘new’ series i knew I had to watch it. This is a true story. Normally I try to not watch such stories because it makes the stuff even worse. I love for example Criminal Minds and I can imagine that this could totally be real. But it still is a story. But when it is not it is more … it is harder to put it away. Because it is real.

The lovely Characters

Okay, let’s start with the truth. I watch the series for the story. Because the characters are not sympathetic. The FBI Agent is so closed of. Form the first moment on the party… he seems so distant and this only grows in the series. He is brilliant and intelligent but he doesn’t get the simples things like family and loyalty. It seems easy for him to give up colleague that help him. Or he don’t get why his wife is so angry at him for leaving the kids in the cinema.
So he drive everyone around away and you get the others – except for Natalie Rogers. I really don’t get why she is so angry at him for wanting her professional opinion and help on the letters.

Best Episode

The best Episode was definitely the one from the perspective of the Unabomber. The most important part is nothing he had to go through can excuse what he did. He killed people as a statement. But the episode shows us an other side of him. A side that maybe want to stop this, someone who got broken by other people. And it makes us thing if it could have been prevented. When his family had offered him real help. For someone who already has problems with socializing and then let him skip two classes. I get that he is so intelligent and that this was the easiest option to encourage his intelligent. But he has problems building a relationship with people the age and that all these people are two years older makes it so much harder.
He did had an easy life and yes he always tended to a violent solution. But still I think that he is in fact a good example that the evil is being made not born.
He still deserve his punishment.

Watching or not

I really found interesting. We see a lot profiling in the series today. But here they are doing all this by analysing is writing pattern and this is really exciting. So yeah if you are interested in this stuff watch it. I will definitely watch the following seasons that hopefully will come.

DW: The Eight Doctor: The Time War Series 1 – Echoes of War

Hey Guys,

welcome to the second part Echoes of War from The Time War Serie with the Eight Doctor. This story starts in the same point were The Spaceship Thesus ended. The Doctor and the little group survived the crash of their ship and are stranded on a planet.

Can you outrun the war?

The group of people wanted to run from the time war just like the Doctor. But it seems that you can’t outrun it. The Planet were they landed is already one of the victims of the war. There are Time distortions in the jungle and they need to get to the safe zone. I really get why the Time Lords decided to fight this war. But I think like Rupa. Why do they have to rip the universe apart by doing it. They destroying so much and most of it is destroyed because of the Time Lords.

Big surprise

The Daleks were form the beginning one of the biggest enemies the Doctor had. Again and again he stood before them and tried to fight them. The Eight Doctor is one of the most extreme Doctors with his opinion about Daleks. Daleks are bad and never ever can they be good. There is nothing left that could be good in a Dalek. A good Dalek is something he can’t exceped. But here they found a defective Dalek. This Dalek doesn’t rememeber that it is infact a Dalek. He just remembers that he needs to survive. That is the Doctor using and makes sure that Dal helps them get to the safe zone.
I really love this bit. Because the others have problems with it. Because this is a Dalek helping them. Is there really nothing left that can be good in a Dalek?

One Point

There is one thing that I actually dislike on Echoes of War. On this planet are creatures that seems to mean them harm. They took people from the group. But you don’t know what happend to them – not really. For me the part were the Doctor and the others are captured by them and how they communicate and all that is just missing and you get thrown at the end and you think what just happend…
but apart from this the story is good and solid.

The Walking Dead: Season 4

Hey Guys,

welcome to season 4 of The Walking Dead. The Governor is gone. The fight is over. We got a new time jump. Rick and his group took the survivor of Woodbury in. They started to build a life in prison. They plant vegetables and built water tanks. The group of survivors stopped running and started living again. Of course something bad will happen.
Remember here is danger of spoilers.

The old enemies are back

The first part of the season is about two old enemies. The first one is just an illness. Without meds everything is more dangerous. So a flu waves is killing people in the prison. What leads to a lot of problems and hard choice.
The other enemy that got back is the governor and it is really annoying how much time they give the Governor and his story.

I had to do it for the group

I love Carol. She got really strong. The development she gone through is amazing. She start to love this group so much. They are her family and she will do everything to save her family. In this season she crosses a line. A line i can’t go with her. I love her and I still love her. I don’t think she can do anything to make me stop loving her. I understand her logic. She decided that she had to kill two people of the group so the other can survive than it had to be like that.
That is the sad thing… Carol was never strong enough to leave Ed. She wasn’t strong enough to keep Sophia save. After she lost them. She become stronger and harder. But not totally hard. She let so many people in and cares about them. She needed to become strong so she can keep her family save. She become what she thought she had to be so she never have to lose her family again. But this is what will make her lose them again in a every different way over the seasons.

Parted ways

The Governor was the most annoying part of this season. But it also brought as a really amazing and sweet character – Tara Chambler.
When the Governor attacks the prison again. He destroys everything… the walls are down and the group leaves the prison behind but not as a group.
We have Tyresse and the kids who met up with Carol. Than we have Glenn and Tara who met up with a new group. Maggie is searching for Glenn with Sasha and Bob. Rick and Carl met up with Michonnen and the last group is Daryl and Beth.
I don’t like this part so much. I love them together…and i missed them as a group so much but the groups they built are amazing.

We have a mission or go to Terminus

Glenn teams up with Tara. Because Glenn saved her and gave a chance after she was part of the attack of the prison. She stays with him. He is searching for Maggie. At this search they met Eugene and his to bodyguards. Eugene knows how to save the world and Abraham wants them to join this mission. Because it is so important. I don’t get it. The world is lost with or without the walking dead. But hey go on your mission.
Maggie is searching for Glenn too. But Sasha stopped believing. Maggie and Sasha are so similar in what the lost and everything. Still really different. When Sasha is afraid to hope, Maggie can just keep going with that hope.

Look at the flowers

This season means it really bad with Carol. After losing Sophia she started to teach the kids who to survive. She got two daughters. One can handle herself but has a mental illness. She is just crazy. She sees the walkers as her friends. She feeds them, ‘plays’ with them and things that it is better to be like them.
The other girl is such a strong sweet girl. She doesn’t want to kill. She just can’t do it but she knows how dangerous the walkers are and she can fight them.
That everything turns when the crazy girl kills her sister to show them that the walkers are good. It brings Carol in a situation were she again has to do a difficult choice. Carol got strong enough to make this decision but it is breaking her to lose her kids again and to lose them in this way.

Family is healing them

Rick is badly hurt and Carl is so angry. All that pain that he feels he make it into anger. Anger at his father for not keeping them save. Rick is so broken after losing his family, after losing his baby… and the way Carl acts is hurting him more. The anger stops the moment he things that his father is dead and he let the pain in. That is when Michonne finds them. When Michonne decides that she will let the survivors in and that they are alive. Michonne is healing them. She makes them smile and laugh. She is healing them. These three become a family and i love to see them.
Daryl is broken. In this season he was so open. He liked the prison and the people. He let them in and let them get close. They are is family and he lost them. He couldn’t save them.
Beth is actually what he needs. Beth needs to do something, she needs to hope, to search, to live. Beth is so strong and she calls Daryl out on his shit. They are hurting each other so much but they also make each other heal. She gave Daryl hope. She was his hope. Until they got split up again.

Watching or not watching – Everybody save

Terminus promised a save place and every one of the group is going there. This is the place were they met again. It is not save. Is there really a place were everyone is save?
There is a lot of stuff i don’t like about this season, but it is still amazing. I love how we get to see more of the people we love. To see them interact with people they hadn’t before.

March 3

Kuroko no Basket

Hey Guys,

welcome to my not so popular opinion about Kuroko no Basket. Every where I looked people say that this is an amazing series and the best sport anime ever… Yeah… definitely not. I was really disappointed and thought about stop watching all the time. So for the information I watched all three seasons and so obviously it is not so bad.

Sport or Fantasy

The first reason I am not a fan of Kuroko no Basket are all the special powers the 6 miracles have. Let’s start at the beginning. The middle school Teiko had a legendary Basketball club. They won all games and get to be known as the generation of miracles because they are so much better than any other talented player. This was the first were I thought okay maybe I should watch something different…
The story is about the sixth man of the generation of miracles the phantom player Kuroko. Apparently he has so the little presences that people just over look him and forget him in no time. The people on the court are asking them if the player actually was on the court. Which makes him amazingly good in passes…
So like this it goes on. So every member of the generation of miracles has one ability like that. For me it is too much. Yes let them be better than anyone… but they are so overdramatic and for my liking to much in the direction of fantasy.
All of these sixth members chose different high school and are now all enemies. All the other miracles chose schools with good basketball clubs and Kuroko is the only one chosing a little school nobody really knows about.

Kuroko the only exception

All the miracles believe that they are so good that they don’t need another player to win. Kuroko is the exception. He believes that basketball is a team sport and want to prove this by defeating the other miracles. Here cames the reason I stayed with the series. He chooses a light. Kagami is a really talented basketball player who wants to defeat the miracles just because they seem strong. The relationship that developes between Kagami and Kuroko is really amazing. I love their friendship how the help each other and save each other from theirselves. These two and their team – with filled with great and sympatric characters – starting their fight against the miracles. This team is so sweet that you wish them that they win.

Wrong image

But here is also a point I dislike. This playing with injuries. Choosing basketball over getting healed… I hate that this series tells you it is okay to play with bad injuries. It is not okay and when you are injured you should stop playing. Animes should tell other that this is okay. This is destroying your body and we shouldn’t teach that to our children.

The other miracles

There were a second reason to watch the show ’till the end and that was ‘Kikasa’ – Kise Ryouta and Kasamatsu Yukio. Kise is one of the miracles and one of the best characters when he actually start accepting his team and the reason behind it is his captain Kasamatsu. Yes I totally watched the last season only for scenes with them. I love these two.

DW: The Eight Doctor: The Time War Series 1 – The Starship of Thesus

Hey Guys,

welcome I finally started ‘The Time War Serie’ with the eight Doctor and the first adventure is ‘The Starship of Thesus. I have to say when i bought ‘The War Doctor Serie’ with this I thought it would be just one adventure and not a serie. But I really love it. Not that it is very surprising. The Eight Doctor is not a War Doctor, he is different. He tries to run from the war so the stories are about not the war but how the war follows him.

Confusion

This story just starts like every other episode. Something happens and you don’t know what is going on and then the Doctor and his Companion arrives at a place and everything takes their way. But than something happens… it is really small at first. I didn’t notice it at first, but every time he says his companion’s name it is a different one.
This is so good thing about Big Finish Stories you are feeling as confused as the Doctor is. You don’t know what is going on. You just know that something is wrong. The first Story of the Box is about finding out what is it that is wrong in this story.

Change of atmosphere

The Story has a dramatic start and then it is a light story about the Doctor and his companion fighting monsters. It feels just like always. It is nothing special. It is just what we excepted from the Doctor. But this changes slowly. With everything that feels wrong the atmosphere changes and it got darker and darker every time. I really like it. The story feels wrong and right at the same time.

Listing or not

First things first of course go and listen to it. It is amazing and if you love the eight Doctor and the stories around the time war, you are totally right here. But there is one important thing to know about this story. I think you can’t even buy it without the other adventure – by the way the Box ‘The Time War Serie’ has 4 adventures and after the stories you will find the soundtrack of the story.
So what I want to say is that this are not 4 adventures. It is more 4 parts of a story. So this story can’t stand alone. You have to listen to the other 3 too. The Starship of Thesus is the first part of the bigger story like a Prolog.

February 22

Torchwood – The Dying Room

Hey Guys,

here we are with the final of the third season of Big Finish Torchwood – The Dying Room. I must say that this story is the weakest, but still amazing. The story is not bad and i like the idea of telling the story.

Biggest and only problem

The problem I have with this story are the characters. We have 4 persons in this story. The two main characters. The first one is an SS-Offizier and the other is a man who get questioned by the SS. The whole story is about this and the story that leads to this. In the story that leads to this we have two more characters. Gabriel the son of the man and a lady the man met. But none of the characters get me. I don’t developed any feelings or likings for a character. That is why the story lost for me. Because no matter how good the story is when the characters are not sympathic than it is no good.

Story flow

The story is told in two levels. The first one is the interrogation and the second one is what the man tells his Interrogator. The first time I listened to the story I was really tired and got a little confused but when you listen to it when you are awake than it is really easy to follow. Like all the other Torchwood stories this one as a surprising turn. There were actually a few things that were clear for me but other stuff I didn’t thought of.

Listen to The Dying Room or not

Definitely go listen to the story. Yes it couldn’t get me but I still think it is a really great story. Also it is Torchwood so there is no reason to actually not listen to it. I am really excited for the next season. The have a few really promising combinations like Ianto and Owen but my favorite will be Andi and Norton.

February 15

Torchwood – The Office that never was

Hey Guys,

welcome to the next adventure of Big Finish Torchwood – The Office that never was with Ianto Jones. An Adventure with Ianto Jones as a main character can’t be bad. I am still not sure about what to thing about it. The story play in the 2000s obviously. But i don’t know were it plays in the serie… i would say somewhere in the second season.

Hunting Ghost

Ianto investigate an abandoned building. A Building that don’t like Ianto. Which sounds really stupid, but it is kinda fun at first. Lights not going on for him or lifts don’t let him enter. He met a woman in this building who can’t even remember her name. They try to find out what actually is wrong in this building and later to just leave the building.
I got really fast clear that someone has a problem with Ianto and it seems that what ever happend, he don’t remember anything.

Listing or not

It is an Ianto Jones adventure so totally yes. The story is good. We slowly find out what actually happend in the past. Ianto Jones has a darker side and this story is a little playing with it. The darker Ianto. When I think about the story the Adam story comes to my mind. It has not much to do with each other but it still seems conacted. Sometimes i forget the dark side of Torchwood. They never had a perfect solutionen. There are so often sacrifices. This story remembers me of that dark side of Torchwood. A side we schould never forget.

Elementary: Season 5

Hey Guys,

I was so happy when Netflix finally had season 5 of Elementary. Like you know when you read my post before (click here for the other article) I love Elementary. The last season was great and I really had high hopes for this season. Some people may already have a feeling what i will say. Season 5 sadly didn’t match my expectation. Of course it was still great but something was missing.

Something Missing

I hate that feeling, when you watch a series and the characters are amazing and the stories are good and you totally in love with the series but somehow the new episodes are still with the amazing characters and still have good stories but they just don’t get you like before. Something is missing. That is what happened here. They are still the characters I love and somehow it feels wrong.
There are to points I actually dislike. First is that at one point Sherlock stopped going to the meetings… and I had the feeling that we were already over that point but before got annoying they let Sherlock see the light.
The second point is the sudden end of a relationship. I don’t think that the breakup is out of character or anything it is that it just came out of the blue.

Dream Team Bell/Sherlock

What I love the most about this season of Elementary are the Bell/Sherlock episodes. They are amazing. I always love when these two work together or their bond deepens. It is beautiful to see how their bond grows and how the open up to each other. I love Joan and Sherlock. But Sherlock built his life around her it is not longer unusual when he opens up to her… it is still beautiful to see the deep trust between Sherlock and Joan. But you know that Sherlock in the end will always tell Joan the truth.
I also love Joan and Marcus. They have a beautiful friendship. Joan will stand up and fight for Marcus and nobody everything something different. When he has problems and she asked about it he most likely will tell her.
But with Sherlock and Marcus things are different. They were in a very rocky place a long time in season two (Elementary S02) but they rebuilt their relationship and I find it really beautiful to see these two persons try to get along, to treat each other with respect and trust.
There are really good episodes in this season. One of the episodes is an episode with them in the last part of the season. We get more about Marcus past.

Joan needs to help

I really like it that they bring up that something is missing for Joan. She was a doctor and then a drug consult (I can’t find the right word), all the job it was about helping people. As a detective things are a little different. The person she made after that her project on the other hand is not really interesting. Shinwell is not really sympathetic or exciting. Just a little boring. But it brings Sherlock in an interesting spot. What would he do for people he believes in or Joan believes in. What would he do for the things he thinks ar justice.
Also it kinda puts Sherlock and Joan on different sides and I really love to see this work out.

Still special

So yes this season of Elementary is totally lacking on a interesting overall story and it just lost something of his magic. But the season was still good. The characters are still amazing and the relationship are still the most important thing in the series. So yeah I still loved the season… and really with that ending. I want the next season really fast, please.
