DW: Destiny of the Doctor – Hunters of earth

Of course i couldn’t let out a 50th years anniversary special and of course i have the TARDIS version of this special in my room.

The first volume is about the first Doctor (William Hartnell) and his granddaughter Susan. I am not a fan of Susan. But the story is not bad.

The TARDIS is damaged and the Doctor is trying to repair it and in this time Susan is going to school of course on the famous school ‘Coal Hill School’. It is like what happen before they met Barbara and Ian. Susan is make a friend Cedric. Of course that is not the story. It beginns with that girl what goes kinda crazy and going to attack Susan and telling her that: she is different and that nobody wants her here, she should just vanished.

Also there is in the radio a song that is from the Doctor for Susan Foreman and Cedric with a very special message about Woodstuck and the Beatles. Also ‘it is all in the wind, Cedric’. What do we made out of it?

The Doctor tries to become a few parts for the TARDIS and there is a guy, who seems to know more about him. He thinks that the Doctor operation basis is in totterslane. Also a few teenagers are attacking the Doctor and tell him ‘that he should go to his own species’. So it seems that many people know about them. So it is not what it seems first. It is about the people who are afraid of the unkown and the desire to use the knowledge of this unkown persons. It is about the Doctor and his opinion about the humans, what has nothing to do with the opinion he had in the new serie. It is about fighting wars.

It is on of the better Stories from this series. Oh yeah, Carol Ann Ford is reading the Story.

DW: Delta and the Bannermen

Hi,

so this episode is quite different. If good or not i can’t say yet. The first scenes remember me of Star Wars, she looked a little like Lela. The Doctor and Mel are going with a travel group and everyone is a little different. They get stranded in Wales.

It has actually a special dynamic. I have the whole story i had the feeling i missed a thing. I don’t know what, but something doesn’t feel right. It is a really strange love story and it has a really interessting dynamic. The Music is really good. It has something different. I don’t know how to discribe it, it is really fun. Also this girl, i forget her name would have made a really good Companion.

I know it is not much. I write about it. But i don’t know what i should say about it… you just must watch it…

TW: Episode 11 – Promise to death

Okay,

the Story isn’t really great and i don’t if like what will happen in the final. But everything else in the episode was awesome. The best parts are totally Liam and Mason and Melissa.

Melissa founds the money and brings Scott to take it back.This talk is really good. You see it was so easy to take it, it could so easily solves there problem. But it isn’t theres and it is blood on it. So he brings it back, back to Derek and he understands why Scott needed so long.

Liam is on the edge. He is seeing this monster everywhere. He is afraid and i can’t fight this feeling. Of course he can be happy to have someone like Scott, but this is a teenager and this a really realistic reaction. He is so human and i love him for that. He is strong, maybe even stronger than Scott when he explode but he is much afraid. He tries to forget everything and Mason is there to distract him. He is grabbing him and pushing him away the same time. But Mason is actually an amazing friend and is there for him. The scenes between them are really amazing. I want him to tell Mason the truth. Please just give me that scene.

That are the really amazing parts in the episode. So we have also a few Lydia scenes. I think she predicted Dereks death and she and Deaton trying to find out what Kate did to Derek. Also what they will do to Scott and Kira.

Malia and Stiles are back together and everything is really sweet with them. Peter wants her to kill Kate, so she could met her mother. Stiles is going with his father to find Scott and that is really amazing. Because they are working together and don’t try to protect the other one.

Scott and Kira have a really sweet date. But they get interrupted by Kate and she takes them to Mexico. She is trying to make Scott one of the Berserkers.

Chris is meeting Peter. Peter don’t want him to interfere. So he makes sure Chris can’t go anywhere. Peter ram a metall rod into Chris and the wall. he would have died down there but there is Parrish. Parrish cames to help him – Lydia told him about Allison – and he makes Chris fight again.

So are you ready for the final? I am not.. but i also have to wait a week…

DW: S08x02 Into the Dalek

Hi Guys,

the first episode was good, but i had very low expectations for this episode. I don’t trust Moffats with my favorite Monsters.

So there is aparrently a good Dalek and the Doctor tries to help him. For that he, Clara and a few soldiers get minimize and get into the Dalek to repair him from the inside. Of course things don’t go like they want it to go. The Doctor repairs the Dalek and he is totally bad again. What i really like is that Clara tells the Doctor that he is wrong and that she totally see through the Doctor.

So i have to say that until the last 15 minutes i thought that the Dalek thing was bad. I mean like everything arround it. The Doctor is really amazing and Clara too. It is so much fun to see them interact and their relationship is really refreshing. But the Story about the ‘good’ Dalek reminded me of one story of the ‘Dark Eyes’ audioplays. But i love what they made out of it. The end is totally amazing. ‘You are a good Dalek’ That is what is the most interessting of these monsters. So yeah totally a fan of the episode.

I don’t like the Missy scenes. What is that woman? Why must she be there?

Also i don’t know what i should think about the Mr Pink thing. His character is nice, but it seems like just a new love interest for Clara because the Doctor isn’t anymore…

We will see.

DW: Frostfire

Here we are,

i have listened to a new story of ‘the Companion Chronicles‘. It featured Vicki and is also read by her actor Maureen O’Brien. Her voice is a little different, i needed a moment to really identify it with her.

She don’t have a audio book voice. I know i heard the brig and i couldn’t stop listing. But by her it is different. It is not so easy like others. But she is making a good job.

She is visiting someone and is reading him what she had written about her adventures with the Doctor. So it is sad that this story take place after Ian and Barbara left. I am not a big fan of Steven. I liked the family Ian, Barbara, the Doctor and Vicki so much. The landed on the earth and met Jane Austin.

It goes about an egg, a phoenix egg. Vicki is afraid of this egg, because she thinks it will come for her, but the egg get stolen. Also everyone is mention that it is cold. Also the person Vicki read her story to, is also telling that she is getting cold and so. He is also laughing on really special parts of the Story.

We see that all what happend to her still makes her feel bad. Also we get that the person that he read to have something to do with the Story. I really like the structure of the Story and the idea. But the Story on it own, just don’t enthral me.

The very interessting think is what we get to know about her life. The life she choose, but if she know what it would be like, she wouldn’t have choosed it. It is just not my story.

DW: Paradise Towers

Hi Guys,

lets talk about the second story with our new Doctor.

So we have different ‘tribes’ and the red one are meeting the Doctor. They live in the Paradise Tower how has at some point a place for visitors. Some things seems to happen – of course. So the met the red ones and Mel is wearing blue. So she isn’t very welcome to the red ones and it didn’t need a lot of time to get the Doctor and Mel seperated.

So there are pretty much strange people in that story. The caretaker remind me to much of the hitler time and i know that is the intant but i don’t like things like that. But there are also these nice old ladies. The first thought i had was that they want to eat Mel – do i really have to say, what happend. Also there is this guy Pex and he don’t be part of a group. He is a pussycat. Everyone is bullying him about it.

It is not a real surpires that to defeat the big bad, they all have to work together. Also the destiny of Pex is not really a surprise. So yeah the story was not mine and don’t know what i think about the Doctor. Maybe after the next Story i can tell more.

TW: Episode 10 – Monstrous

Oh my god!

What can say to that. This is good stuff. That is also something that let me fear that the Peter Arc maybe coming to an end. I don’t want it to end know. But maybe that is exactly what they want.

Meredith is the Benefactor and she don’t want to talk to anyone. The Sheriff tried everything and then he let Lydia do it. Lydia finds out that she only want to talk to Peter. So we get that Peter is the reason for the whole thing. He wanted to kill everyone to create a new race, to make stronger monster, to make monsters. He things that Talia made them weak. So he want to start over again. It is a little ironic that the reason all that take place was because of Kate and now he is working with to made is plan work. It is really amazing how they are doing these scenes.

Stiles and Malia must talk, because Melissa don’t let them out. I love Melissa. They talk and get back together. After that they beginn to work together to find out, what needs to be done to stop the Deadpool. They are a really good team and it is really good to see them back together.

Scott is bringing the people from the Deadpool to Chris and Chris is figthing on there side to proctect everyone. These scenes are amazing. This Scene between Satomi and Chris are really good. Derek is fighting with Scott even when he is human and not on the list anymore. It is amazing. But there is also something i really don’t like. That is the loosing controll of Scott. He becames like a monster, like alpha like Peter was. He did hit this one guy really brutal and he was down but Scott don’t stop and it is really a few seconds longer and Scott would have killed someone. He is losing and i don’t like it. But they did it in an amazing way.

Also i love the trust Lydia have in Scott. She could say anyone – Kira or someone else, but she said Scott. She believes in Scott. Scott is the reason she is still there, the reason she don’t run away and the reason she find the strenght to go on.

Also Liam don’t have a big part but a really important part. Because he says that i can’t be like him. He can’t save everyone, he can’t protect everyone. He doesn’t even understand how they still alive. Scott just says one thing. “Not all are”.

This about the amazing persons that dead in a war they never wanted to fought. But nobody run away. I love you Erica and i never believed i say that i love you to Allison. In memorie of Erica Reyes, Boyd Vernon, Matt Daehler and Allison Argent.

Torchwood: House of the dead

So this is a really horrible story. I love her. That is a good story but it is just to torture us. Ianto is by a seasson and tries to stop him, also Jack is there. Gwen is on the way to them. There is a medium that can let them see person their want to see. But a very bad thing reach out to come back to life and that what Jack want to stop.

Gwen thinks that something is wrong with Jack and Ianto thinks he is a little spuck. For me Jack is just like Jack. Ianto get visited by his father. The father is telling him that he waited for his call. Also she says that he should stop Jack and that everyone will be alive – Owen, Toshiko and so on. We see more inside in Ianto Jones. This is a really amazing thing.

Also it says that they can’t trust Jack and Gwen is saying that is right and Ianto have to stop it. She is totally talk Ianto into believing that Jack is mad. But Jack says that he should trust him.

So here it will became spoilers. There is a twist in the Story.

Jack tells him that he couldn’t talk to Gwen because his headset is not on and he totally trust Jack from this moment. Jack wants to close the rift forever but before they can do it. But the father of Ianto give him a chance. He tells him that they just can move away, that he can take Ianto and leave. Because can he really let Ianto die again? So he needs to tell Ianto that he is dead and it is really emotional. Because Ianto is breaking down and crying and Jack can’t just bear to look at him. Ianto is seeing through Jack. Jack wanted to close the rift but Ianto know that this is not the truth. He knows this is about Jack. This is about Jack. Because Jack can’t let Ianto go. He can’t live with the thought that the world is empty. He wants to do suicide so he never came back. But Ianto is so much more. Ianto tells him that they take the chance. But Ianto is just using this to get Jack to live. He is sacrefice himself and Jack needs to say these words. I love you… and it never break my heart like that. This Story is telling us to much about the characters. About Jack and about Ianto. If you want to cry or have a broken heart just listen to it.

DW: S08x01 Deep breath

Hey Guys,

yesterday me and my friend, the one that brought me to all these series, were looking Doctor Who in the cinema. She didn’t look it anymore but she was there with me. Thank you for that.

Everyone, who reads this will think i am crazy, but i am disapointed from the athmosphere in the cinema. You know that i am coming from the anime fandom. When we watch Movies in the cinema like One Piece or Detektiv Conan, there is an amazing athmosphere. Because everyone is like you and everyone speaks it out. They comment things and i love this kind of looking. Also it is that you always will talk with the people which are siting next to you, if you know them or not. That is everything i didn’t had yesterday with Doctor Who. But lets talk about the Doctor and the Episode.

So first of all, Peter Capaldi is an amazing Doctor. You can see it in everything. The first to seconds were enough to except him as the Doctor. I like his kind of play. The regeneration isn’t going well. Not so bad like the fifth. The Doctor is a little confused and need to sort himself out.

I know everyone loves Madam Vastra, Jenny and Strax. I don’t like them very much and i don’t like that they play like they knew him so long. ‘Here we go again’ Madam Vastra says but she doesn’t know any other incarnation than the eleventh. The Brig had sad that, when she met a new doctor. But the Brig really met a few versions of him. Actually i miss persons like him. People they always come back for an episode.

The Doctor changed and Clara is in schock. It is really good and realistic. I really like who Clara is written in this episode and the actor make an amazing good job. I love the chemestery that is between them. What i love the most is that they actually be friends and nothing more, no flirts. Clara has problems with this new Doctor and she think she don’t know him anymore. I love to see them like that. The Regeneration reminds my of the sixth Doctor or the seventh with Ace. It isn’t the first time the Doctor is dark and don’t have much people skills or let his companion alone. I love how they brought that back.

The best thing about the Story is the interaction between him and Clara. The Story is a little boring and really good. The thing i really don’t like is the part with Matt Smith. It is not against his Doctor. I love to see old Doctors again and again. But i don’t like how the did it. I mean really, i am regenerating and call Clara to tell her do be there with the Doctor. That that is the Doctor? Who needs that? It was unnessassary and doesn’t do Matt or Peters Doctor justis. I love the scene after that. ‘You don’t see me’. But before is … no that is one of the scene i really, really dislike.

I don’t know what i can say about the Story because it was nothing special, nothing really good and i really dislike that Moffats tries to conact everything. We don’t needed something to do with madam pompadue. Also they speak about the woman how gave Clara the number of the doctor and so. It was fun until we saw the scene with this woman. What was that? Really just let it go. It was for the episode and i really don’t like the scene, this woman and how she talks about the Doctor. Please no. Also i didn’t like the ‘i have seen this face befor’ thing. I love ‘fire of pompeij’ and i don’t want that there is more behind it.

I want to Doctor Who not big, i want back my little small stories.

But i was positive surprised bey the episode. So i will watch the season. Let’s see what will follow.

DW: Echoes of Grey

Here we go to listen to the next adventure of ‘the companion chronicles’.

It is featuring Zoe Heriot and the third doctor. Zoe and Jamie had one of the heartbreaking goodbyes in the Doctor Whos histery. So this story after everything is what we all want. We want them to remember.

Zoe has a photographic memory. She was one of the companions, that was more intelligent than the Doctor. So this story starts really good, because you totally can see that this is like they tell, that she has the feeling that she forgot something.

Wendy Padbury is easier to listen as Maureen O’Brien but not so faszinating like Nicholas Courtney.

Zoe is meeting someone that know her from her time with the Doctor and she wants to help Zoe remember. Of course the story is about the adventure they met the girl. They are in something like hospitel but it is empty. Every patient get healed that is what the files say. The doctor is really suspicous about it. Zoe get separate from the Doctor and she finds a room with a few creatures. The Girl that wanted to help Zoe, tells her that she felt so connected to Zoe. I find her really suspicous.

So a journalist is search for her grandmother, who was healed but never came back. When Zoe and Jamie wants to talk to him, one of this creatures suck the life out of him. Also it seems that it know that Jamie and Zoe are hiding in that room and left them alone.

The Doctor wants to see the creatures but they vanished. So they go to search one creature in the workplace. They find something of a fluid that heals/adsorbs everything. Of course the Doctor goes to confront the people behind it.

What i don’t like about the story, that Zoe is not getting what happend. The Doctor explains it to her and the others. Zoe is so intellgent she should have get it before the Doctor explains.

But the story is really good and i love what they make out of it. The creatures are made to remove damaged zelles, and when the can’t take anymore they die. This is interessting because for one the damage zelles aren’t there they take good ones. And the second part is that the made them want to die… this is real cruel. The solution of the Doctor is also cruel, but without much choice. That is the third thing i love about the Story.

The ending of Zoe and Jamie losing all the memories where heartbreaking and i never thought that the can do that again. But the end of the story is breaking my heart and fills my eyes with tears. The offered Zoe everything, her memories, her life, to be whole again and she choose to give all that up, just to prevent this people to make this creatures again. Zoe Heriot this is an ending that take her justis. That is my Zoe i love.

i will totally buy the other stories with her.
