DW: The War Doctor – Only the Monstrous: The Innocient

Hey Guys,

here we goes with the first Box-set of the Big Finish The War Doctor serie and we are talking about the first story The Innocient of this Box. What i think about the Box and if i will buy the others we will talk about it after i heart all three stories. So this Box like you can assume has three stories a 60 min. This are the three stories:
1.1 The Innocient
1.2 The Thousand Worlds
1.3 The Heart of the Battle

So in the next days i will write about the next two stories. One thing is clear John Hurt has an amazing voice and is perfect for a audio drama.

The start

We are in the middle of the time war. The Doctor already have done a lot of things that he is not prude of. He thinks about himself a monster and refuses to use his name the doctor. It is sad that we don’t now yet what makes him that way. But the Doctor has nightmares about this stuff so we maybe got to know more about it.
The first thing that happend is that the Doctor sacrifice himself to destroy the Dalek fleet. The time lords things that he is dead. I really dislike that start because it reminds me to much about the new Doctor Who seasons. But the story is good. The Doctor is badly hurt and a girl or woman is finding him and cares for him.

The nursemaid

She is nice and wants to help. The task to care for the Doctor is never an easy one. She is part of a peacefull civilisation that got attack be a race from their home planet they had to leave to hide from them. It is a little like the time war. The people had long forgotten what really started this war. The Doctor can just not stay away from getting involved in things like that.
I waited the whole time that this people are just fake or something bigger behind it and maybe there is but not in this story.

Nightmares

The nightmares are the most interessting part of the story, because it shows us what the Doctor became. He dreams of an accidient. The Daleks took innocient people as a shield so the time lords will not attack. Did the Doctor attack them? Did he make the choice to sacrifice a few for saving maybe everything else?

The first story is nice. But not just what i hoped for. I hoped for something dark and hopeless. But this story gives us hope and shows us that the Doctor is deep down still the Doctor. So we have to wait what the other stories had for us.

Doctor Who: S09x12

Hey Guys,
here we go with the final of Doctor Who. I have to warn everyone i really dislike this episode and i don’t think that i would this time something good to say about it. One thing is clear for me know this season will never stand in my shelf. That i will just read and listen episodes and i don’t know. I can’t just give up on Doctor Who just know… but i really lost the fun of watching it. For me it is just something i need to do so that i can say that i dislike it…please…let this change again.

Biggest Mistake?

What is the worst about the episode? That can be answered easly. It is that the again took the end of a really good character and destroyed it. They did in the classic serie with Peri and it was a mistake. Claras death was important. She got reckless and risk her own life easily. She died because of that and that she couldn’t let Riggsy die. It was a end that showed us what person Clara was and what she became. It was a good end for her. But no… consequence are nothing for Doctor Who. They took this decission from her. She is not really alive but also not dead…
Clara made a decision and the Doctor took it from her. But what is even worse is that this Clara is not fighting him. She says the Doctor goes to far back is walking with him and in the end she is of to adventures with Ashildir…

Hybrid

The whole story about it is… dump. Sorry. But what should that be? We don’t get an answer for this question but one is more likely like the other… it could be the Doctor or Ashildir. Or that is what the ‘consequence’ came in Clara and the Doctor. That is really stupid. They were never dangerous not more than others. And what is that consequence that the can’t travel together and that the Doctor have to forget. The reason for that was just not logic. This was not emotional. They were emontial scenes most of them was with Clara talking… but this was not nessassary. The whole episode just makes no sense to me.

Sorry, i wish i could still love Doctor Who like i am used to.

AoS: S03x09

Hey Guys,
sorry you had to wait so long for this opinion about the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode. But this episode made me really angry. It is one of the best episodes this season and one of the worst. Their are so many things i love one the one hand and hate on the other… I am really afraid of the mid-season finale…

Rosalind

I has to say that this let me cold… this is bad and Ward again made a bad decission and killed someone. But this is the only thing i really care about. Because this is another step further away from redemptation…
I don’t understand what everyone found so interessting about Rosalind. I really disliked her and she never got me in anyway. The relationship between her and Coulson let me also cold. This has also to do with Coulson becoming more and more unsympatic and i start to don’t care about him or May anymore. So this is totally one reason. We don’t have to talk about that this murder and a crime. No argue with it. But the death that get me more was of his right hand. He just got interessting.

Get to know Ward

Here we go with one of the things i love and hate. Coulson is talking with everyone about Ward. Skye is actually having a really good insight in Ward. As much as i love that she actually beginn to understand what was going on in him, i don’t really see where this is coming from. Because even she was going through the same she never had seen it that way. Also is Fitz saying something like Ward was trying to replace something with him. Their were never any indication for it before.
But the worst part is that this episode tells us something really important and nobody seems to talk about. The good guys…all of them told Coulson that they believe that Ward was abused by is brother and family. They know he was talking the truth the whole time. And even when they are right that this is not excuse for going bad, this is showing us that they are no good people. This is not about not forgiving Ward. This is about Wards big brother.
Everyone know that Coulson was giving him to his brother and everyone believed that he abused Ward.
I still got really shaken by it when i think about it and i really could cry the whole time about it. Because these people are worse than anyone. You never ever hand victim back to the abuser… never… no matter what they did. They can imprision him or even sentence him to death (i am really against death sentence but it is better than that…) but you never give them to the abuser… This is cruel. But it shakes me even more that nobody seems to care about it from the viewer…

Thomas…and good guys can to everything…

Coulson is taking revenge. This is understandable but hey is the bad guy going for revenge it is a bad thing if the good guy does it, it is understandable…
Coulson is crossing a bridge here and people seems not to see that he totally he had sacrificed Thomas (sadly this is also the case for Hunter). The only reason Thomas is alive and not hurt is because of Bobbi. Because Bobbi seems to be the only human in S.H.I.E.L.D. which still can differentiate between good and bad.
Thomas is a theme that really hurt me. I love that we got to see his opinion on what happend, that we see that people don’t have turn out like Ward, that sometimes you can win against the odds. Also i love how realistic it is that they not understood how cruel it is what Thomas is saying. But i hate that the writes do nothing to show that to the viewer… that the don’t make them understand what Ward at to go through.
Thomas tells us that everything is true what Ward had told them about his brother and family. Also he tells us that Ward always protected him except for the well incidence. The well incidence that was the fault of Wards older brother.
Thomas was stronger than Ward and that is okay but Ward was never a strong character. He always need someone to follow… he is no leader. Never was. Never will be. He NEEDED help what Thomas could on his own Ward couldn’t. That doesn’t make him a bad person. Nothing that happend in his childhood did make him bad. It destroys him. He tries so hard to protect what is important to him. He could not protect Thomas. That is why he got obbsessed with protecting people that is why the love for Skye begann to become creepy.
All this people destroyed him and nobody is even admitting that they let him down. Ward is nothing different that Skye. Just that she has more luck that she is see as a good guy. He is like Coulson and May… he is not worse than S.H.I.E.L.D. and people need to understand that. Yes is a murderer that is what he became after Coulson tried to hand him over to his brother… Before that he was like every other agent…
We see this in that episode again… he knows better than to get used by Malick but in the end he is still doing what he said… he needs to follow…

Fanfic dreams…

After Jemmas story i thought that this would be a perfect oppurtunity to bring Ward redemptaion. Fitz is trying to save Will and lands with Ward on this lonley planet and they have to survive their alone. I was close to get that. i mean really Wards team will die really fast. Than he and Fitz would be alone…but than Coulson is distroying all my dreams… again…

Just to be said Mac is such a better director as Coulson…

UNIT: The longest Night

Hey Guys,
welcome to the best adventure of the UNIT serie and the sadest, because UNIT – The longest Night isn’t afraid of anything. So what do we have? This is definitily with a lot of Spoilers. Because i can’t tell anything about the adventure without talking about it.

For our people

This adventure is about a few bombing attack. The people that took the bombs are people that never have anything to do or contact with such extremes. It is really fast clear that they get brainwashed. This is the highlight of the serie. It is give us a conspirisousy that end in the last adventure of the serie. The story take loose ends and gave a few answers. It is not that i haven’t anything to criticize.

Jump and Jump

This is what really often happend in the Doctor Who Stories. But this is something i really dislike. That are the many jumps in scenes, places, times. They are so short scenes and it gets on my nerv. Also the news that are again and again in the story, getting on my nervs. It is in this story a working style medium but i hate this things. But this is just my opinion. But all that can not stop me from loving this adventure and a little bit hate because last point that will come now.

Spoilers

The Story starts with a big death or maybe death? Hoffmann have a great start and i love this character. He was strong, intelligent and reacted so fast. My thought was why we don’t get him or Dalton in the Doctor Who serie in UNIT. Now we know. We start with this sad death. I am very emotional after that. But it is not the only thing. Dalton has the whole adventure to play himself into heart and when he not already was there, he would after the singing in the car. So we get to see this sides on him, see him closer to his comrades, start to understand and love UNIT, we get to doubt him and we hope that he will the good and the living and it ends with his death.
Now i am a emotional tailcout.

DW: S09x11

Hey Guys,
welcome to the new Doctor Who episode and the negative rant about it. It was not everything bad but as whole the episode doesn’t get me. There are so many things i really disliked. So you all know this is just me ranting over one of my favorite series that i don’t want to watch anymore but can’t stop.

One-man-show

Peter Capaldi is A+ actor and can totally rock a one-man-show but i am not a fan of it. It’s like a X files with just Mulder or just Scully… not the same and boring. The Doctor needs someone but i can overlook that he hasn’t one in this because the companion in this episode was still Clara. The way they let her play in this episode made me afraid that they would bring her back, but until now she is still dead. So this all alone thing is not my thing. But on the other hand my fears put aside, i like the way they made the Doctor talk with Clara, when she isn’t their anymore. With Adric death the Doctor was defeated. But here the Doctor is angry. Also the words of Clara are a highlight in the episode.

Boring…

Nothing happend… this is what happend in this episode. The Doctor is talking and wandering around… nothing more. He doesn’t know what all this is about and we don’t know. This whole construct doesn’t make any sense. They say that all rooms get set to zero or the starting point when he leaves… what can’t be. Because when it is that way how can he write brids in the sand, how can he find his clothes? Everything should have been away too. But it isn’t. The Doctor dies over and over again… just starting new everytime he dies…
But of course the crystal wall he is breaking is also not reseting…something here doesn’t make any sense.

Confessions

The Doctor has to confess thing to stop the monster from killing him. So he is talking about the time war, about being afraid, about a hybrid. Two things about the confessions. The idea is not so bad, but the confessions are. The Doctor tells us about a hybrid of a Dalek and… I hated the Dalekhybrid episode. This was a human-dalek Hybrid and that episode was so bad… and they weren’t really dangerous.
In the end he tells us or them that their of course is no dalekhybrid. What the heck? They got the prophecy wrong. They should be afraid of a Dalekhybrid. The hybrid that will stand in burn down grounds is me/ the Doctor. The way he says it i thing he really means himself. But i actually doesn’t like the human-timelord-hybrid eiter and ignored it. The Doctor is no on the way to destroy? He still has friends in Gallifrey. Some people thing he means ME, but we will see.
I don’t remember the scene. But i read a few posts about it that the Doctor left Gallifrey because he was afraid… i choose to forget that. Because he was not afraid. William Hartnells Doctor was a hard and closed old man. He was bored out of his mind. He could just see the world, he needed to experience it. He doesn’t thought of the races as bad or good. He just was interessted in them. All that… came when he started traveling with his first two companions. He was not afraid… and also William Hartnells Doctor dead because of old age. So stop with that crap.

DW: S09x10

Hey Guys,
welcome to the latest episode of Doctor Who. This was one of the better episodes this season. It is really embarrassing that i needed over the half of the episode to actually get that Rigsy is Rigsy. That we know him from another episode, i think it was Flatline. Just to make sure this review will have a big spoilers.

Story

Rigsy is calling the TARDIS. He hab forgotten the whole last day and has a tatoo that counts down. That is never a good thing. The Doctor things that Rigsy had contact with aliens. He tells us that there are whole streets which just vanish. In such a street was Rigsy. This street is like a refugee camp of aliens and of course the leader is Me. This side of Me is making her really unsympatic… when she told the Doctor that she will protect the world from him. I think everyone thought that this wasn’t such a bad idea… but we didn’t meant it like her. What she did this episode is for me – i want to say unforgiveable – but that is not the right word.

The end of a journey

We heart everyone talk about it the death of Clara Oswald. This is it. Clara got this season after the death of Danny more like the Doctor than ever. She got cocky and now she pays the price. Clara thought that what ever happends she will be saved, she will survive. So she got Rigsys death sentence. He is a father of a little baby and Clara wants to make sure that he will go back to his girl at the end. But this time the Doctor can’t save her. This time their is no magical solution, no back door. At least i hope their isn’t. I loved Clara. She was a strong character and she and the Doctor had an interessting relationship. I wished her nothing more than to have a long and happy live. But i really hope that there isn’t a backdoor. That she is really dead. Death is sad and cruel and unnessassary… it will never be somethingelse for these who are left behind. But the last few season made us forget what death means because the Doctor always changed it. I don’t want another Rory… just let her be.

DW: Singularity

Hey Guys,
welcome to the 76 adventure – Singularity – of the big finish main range. It plays it the 21th centuary somewhere after Warchild and before the Seeds of Death. In the timeline of the fifths Doctor and Turlough it is somewhere after the Resurrection of the Daleks. I love this story from the beginning.

Turlough

He is one of the most interessting characters on Doctor Who. Is at the beginning unsympatic, always thinks first of himself, he does what is best for him, he isn’t into the magic around the Doctor, he is kinda bored the travling, the adventures. He changes the most of all Companions i remember. He got alot scene to show this to us. He is the one that talks Lena out of changing history. He is conaticing to these people. I love him. He is also one of the Companions that likes the TARDIS. He never saw her as a thing, he always saw her as a living creature. This is again in this Story showing.

Lena

Lena is the reason why i love the stories with the fifths Doctor so much. She is losing everything. Friends of her die because, they got involved with the Doctor. Because travling with him she got make choices nobody have. She is always struggling from the first moment she met the Doctor. She is one of the companion that is at a point where she wish she never met the Doctor. She is a person we need more on Doctor Who. Because she is right. Most times he makes a great mess without really helping. He wants to help but he not always really does. This is something we need to remember.

Story

The Story is really good. We have amazing characters that works very well in the storytelling. The bad guys are not really what they seems like. It is a little surprising and it is bringing the question up of punishing for a crime before comitted. For me this is a pretty good story.

AoS: S03x07/08

Hey Guys,

here i am back to tell you what i think about the new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episodes. Ward has so much screen time this last episode it is so good to see him in action again. So this is episodes are about Andrew and CTPU…

We are cursed

Let’s start here because my little babies. Jemma can’t take it anymore that Fitz is so calm and just helping her and he can understand it. But this is way better than scream at her or anything. He is just in controll, which is kinda sad and also good. Fitz is a good person that is why he will never let Will alone in this world. Jemma asked him to help and that is what Fitz will do. Even when he knows that he will lose Jemma again in a way. We all know that she fall in love with Will. That doesn’t mean that she hadn’t feelings and still have for Fitz, but someone else is there…These two are also making the discovery that bounds all the storylines together.

Tell us something new

I don’t know why it is for everyone a surprise that Hydra is older than the Nazis. Sorry but the told us in Captain America Part one that Hydra just used the Nazi to do what they wanted. I am sure to that time almost every Hydra agent was a nazi but this isn’t something that is bound together. For it was always clear that Hydra was alot older than the Nazis… But this doesn’t change a thing in the Ward history. Because yes for Ward Hydra were Nazis. But Ward was until the third season never Hydra. But that isn’t the reason he is not a Nazi. He is not a Nazi because he liked Trip and he never made him feel little or bad. He always treated him and every other with respect also every woman he met before he did that supid line to get under Hills skin.

Second chance for Andrew Garner

I really don’t understand this. Why is everyone giving him a second chance? Why is nobody judging him? This change that the mist set in movment, doesn’t chance who you are. Raina was still Raina, Skye was still Skye, it doesn’t chance who you are. If you are a good person it doesn’t make you a bad one. This chance doesn’t make Andrew a monster. This way of thinking most have grown in him for a time. He thinks that he can decide who is worthy of this gift and who not. He is killing everyone he doesn’t like. He is trying to kill Lincoln. Yes i still don’t trust Lincoln but we never see him do anything else than helping people. He always wanted to help. The darkness that is now seen in is character is because his whole world broke down around him. Everything he believed in was wrong. But Andew doesn’ want to help him, he wants to kill him. He killed alot of people. Everyone talked about Lash as a monster. The bad example for Inhumans. Everything that Andrew said here was that he has do keep doing it. He doesn’t want to stop. He doesn’t want a cure. He wants out killing Inhumans.
But yes you are right this guy deserve a second chance… i know he is misguided and maybe you can save him and help find a way back. But this way is not cure…
So what Ward did in the end is what Andrew wanted… he didn’t do anything to Andew. He just give him what he wanted. Be not angry about with Ward, be angry with Andrew because he choose this. It was his choice.

Hydra or not

I don’t know what I feel about Rosalind not being Hydra. That she is just someone who get played too. Also i am not sure if i really believe her. Maybe she is still playing a game. I just don’t like her… it is her look… i don’t know…

Love the faces Ward did this episode. But i warn you Ward don’t do anything to hurt your future husband…

Torchwood: Forgotten Lives

Hey Guys,

welcome back to a new adventure of big finishs Torchwood ‘Forgotten Lives’. This time we know when it takes places. It plays five years after The Miracle Day and Jack is away for that time. Rhys and Gwen are living a good and normal life until an old Woman calls and talk about Jack.

Good pair

I am not a big fan of Gwen and i will never be ready to love her like i do all the others on Torchwood. But Rhys and she became a real good team and that is really amazing. I like these both together. Also i love Rhys. Rhys is someone that never really agreed with Jack and that is what he does it here again. What is really good to listen too. This adventure is different ot the others. The first two had just one of the Torchwood team as a acting character. Here we have Gwen and Rhys. But here we also have Captain Jack Harkness not has John Barrowman but has a role in it.

Like Sense8

The idea that is played with here is simular to the idea of Sense8. It is that people can jump into other bodies. The can’t stay in one. It is like you are every day in a new body. The race that has invented that, doesn’t ask other races if they want this, they just do it to them. They thing that they are the good people, that they are so protecting the weak. I think we can discuss about it. But to be sure is that, doing it to them is not the right thing.

This story is not bad for a Gwen Story and the end is like a goodbye to Jack but also a new beginning. A new beginning for a new Torchwood.

DW: S09x08

Hey Guys,

i will excuse myself right now about everything i will say about this new episode of Doctor Who. The first thing i wanted to do after i looked the first minutes of the episode, was to turn the tv off. Everything about the episode was horror in a bad way. After this episode i thing this season will not find his way into my dvd-cupboard.

You can’t unsee it

The whole way the story was told was annoying and bad. This first few minutes that tells us how bad everything is and that this will be so dramatic that i just want to turn it off. Than we saw a few camera scenes from the resue mission and the Doctor. And this stupid unsympatic and crazy person telling us the story.
And i really wish that i could unsee it. Why didn’t i listen to him…
The story is not better than the episode was told.

Sandman

So it seems like the invention of the Morpheus-capsel, that change something in your brain and let you make 5 minutes power sleeping instate of a good night sleep. Of course there is a sideeffect. This sideeffect is that your sleepsand is eating you and becoming a monster. That is Doctor Who logic i am okay with. But now it comes. This monsters are blind but they are cameras… which are everywhere and the Doctor can hack them. Of course Clara was in one of the pods. Is just waiting for the sand to eat her… this whole sceneario is senseless…

and than…

Than it all just ends. It doesn’t make sense. Because Clara is in facted. The bad guy got is signal out… and than it just ends and next episode seems to be something totally different and i really hate everything about it.
