Arrow: S02EP4&5

Welcome back to Arrow. This episode is all about Sara Lance and the weights of secrets. The new villian or hero is Sara Lance the dead sister of Laurel. It seems like Oliver didn’t know about her alive. He knows that she don’t drowned, but he thought that she died later. So he is surprised to see her again.

Sara Lance and her family

She came back to the city to see if her family was okay. But she doesn’t left after that an keeped an eye on her family. It seems that there is more about her than it seems. There are people that are searching for her but she don’t want to go back – whatever back is. She is fighting with the Arrow but she is not like him. She is like the Oliver in the first season maybe even worse. She showes us how different she and Oliver are. Oliver is letting the hurt go. He beginns to live again. Now in that season he understands that he is alive, that he survived. The don’t die on that island. Her family has big problems. Her father seems to face his but Laurel is running away. She is drinking and she didn’t let them help her.

We get to know more about Sara. After Oliver thought that she is died, she was rescuced by the wrong people and became part of the ‘League of Assassions’. This League is wearing the same clothes as Malcolm Merlyn. To protect her father she tells him that she is alive. He shows her that she is loved whatever she does. We see what family can mean.

Also we see how she survived the storm.

The Big Bad

The bad boy in this episode get captured by Arrow and Sara. So he will get into prison, but we will learn that this is not where he is coming. There is the big bad with mask, which gives him a neddle with something in it, but this one died. Whatever that is, it is not what it should do. Also we see how is behind that mask. It is Sebastian Blood. Just when you thought that maybe is not so bad like he seems. We see that he will be totally the bad in that season. We don’t know if he is the big bad or if he had someone above him.

Roy and Thea

Roy met the friend of Sara. Sin knows that Roy works for the Arrow. Of course Thea don’t know that. But the get involved in that shooting. Roy and Thea don’t get hurt but Sin is. Roy is reacting fast helped her and send Thea to call the ambulance. So he saved her. Thea is telling him that is still a hero, because he saved her. I think it is really important that Thea believes in him.

Arrow: S02EP3&4

Hi Guys,

the second season of Arrow arrived and now i am watching it on DVD. The Box with both season are not really beautifull but better than what we can be here in Germany. So yeah i am back at watching Arrow in english. I can tell you that it is a big changeover again. But i love to hear Colton Haynes original voice again. I will watch it like it is to see in German. So every week two episodes.

But now let’s talk about the new episode.
Roy Harper totally my favorite character after that tragic death of my favorite character Tommy Merlyn. Roy is a stupid little boy that want to change the world. He wants to make a different. He wants to protect them all. He wants to stop losing people. He loves Thea and he wants to be with her but he never can just watch. He needs Thea, do be his rock. Do be the one that holds him back. Thea needs him as her rock and him to help her let her anger and fear out. They need each other. But they are really bad on the other side. Thea lost so much people in her life and had to live on her on. That she can’t lose someone again. She needs someone, which don’t bring himself in danger again and again. Also to protect the one she loves she is ready to do anything also let him go. But he needs someone, which don’t let him go.
To take him a little out of the line of fire, Oliver as the Arrow is making him his informant. So the team Arrow is getting bigger. I really excited to see him interacted with Felicity and the others.

Laurel has changed sides. She is hunting the Arrow and wants him caught. Because she gave him the fault of Tommys death. The ironic is that her father, which tried the whole season one to catch him is now taking his side. He wants someone to help him making the city better and saver again. He don’t care who is helping him. That is an interessting dynamic.

Sebastian Blood is the hero in shining amor. But he has something on him that makes him totally unsympatic.

So the second part of Arrow is the past on the island. We see more interaction with the three. We see a really good and deep relationship between Oliver and Shado. This is really nice to see. Slade seems to be jealous of them. Also of course there are coming new bad guys to that island.

DW: S08EP07 – Kill the Moon

Good evening guys,

we ant to talk about the best episode so far of Doctor Who? Okay the best episode in this season. I am totally in love with it. This episode makes everything right. It is a long time ago that an episode makes my cry like that. The idea is stupid and actually i don’t like the idea but everything is so good. Okay, just lets start with the episode.

The idea is that something is with the moon and to save the earth they want to blow the moon up. The only things i don’t like is that there are spiders on the moon and spider webs and of course the solution what happens to the moon – we talk later about that. The atmosphere is dark and really good. They have a few really good effects. It is fun to watch. The girl we met in the last episode (DW: S08EP06 – The Caretaker) have a part again. Clara wants the Doctor to tell her that she is special. Something the new doctors could do and do really often, but this Doctor can’t to it. So he takes the girl and Clara to a trip to the moon. Of course it is not so simple. The met a team that want to blow up the moon.

After the girl got attackt she wants back home. What i think is really relastic and important. Also important is that the Doctor don’t get it. Because all that don’t understand humans is the important think in this episode. He finds out that the moon is an egg. So the creature just starts to live. The Woman is afraid of what will happen to the earth and Clara just don’t want to kill a baby. That is an opinion that the girl also have. But the Doctor refuse to help. He is talking and talking and letting Clara stand there. He left them alone. The astronaut, the school girl and a teatcher to decide the future of the earth.

Clara wants to talk, to discuss but there are just going in circles. The astronaut just don’t want to take the risk. But this also means something else. If the blow up the moon and the Doctor will not be back, they will die there. When they get contact to the earth. Clara have an idea. She broadcast to the world and tells them how the situation is and that the should take out the lights when the creature should be killed and make the lights on when they want to let it live. We all know what the humans will decide. But it takes Clara and the girl really hard.

The astronaut wants to do it but in the last moment Clara and the girl try to stop her and then the Doctor is back and brings them to earth. So the can see the birth of this creature. Nothing happend to the earth. Also the creature let the a souvenir, a new egg.

That is not the end. Clara don’t understand what the Doctor had done. The Doctor talks about respect, and making decisions but Clara is just at the end. She feels left behind, alone, like dump little human, with no real importants to the Doctor. She never wants to see him again and she tells him that. That is such a strong scene.

DW: Survival

This is the last Doctor Who Story for me. That is really sad. I am at the end and i don’t want it to end. But after that i will rewatch the film, because he is the real end and i will write about it. But i  can tell you i am not a big fan of the movie but of the Doctor. Paul McGann is an amazing doctor.

Okay, i like Ace a little more in the Story. She is anouyed at one point of the Doctor. He is havening problems with Cats and is not a real surprise that the Master have a play in it. I love stories with the master. Ace wanted to know what her friends are doing. So they go back to eart in the preesnt. People vanished into. There are this creatures and also it seems like thereis something like a sickness. The Master get yellow eyes and not just the Master. Everyone. It is a really good Story. Doctor Who would be awesome when it when it would be going on.

DW: Silver Nemesis

Hey Guys,

so welcome to a story to featured the cybermen,  two people travels from the past through time to find the power and a group of soldiers whats the same. In all this the Doctor and Ace standing.

It is an really interessting idea to have three groups fighting over the power. Nobody should win, but that is life. For me it is too short and not deep enough. I want more and i want deeper stories. The Doctor must of the time just sit in the green and hears Jazz music.

DW: Happiness Patrol

Hey Guys,

now we are looking a new episode. It is from the design again a very special episode. There is the hapiness control and the literal candyman. I don’t like Ace very much and the last story don’t changed anything about it. Actually it seems like she does nothing. That is a step back for Doctor Who because the companions were ever the best of him. We don’t need someone how workship him and all she do is getting violant. I am hoping for more.

In this Story Ace is doing something. I don’t like her and she don’t get any real ‘action’ but she has something to do. The Story is not mine but the idea is pretty good. Because that’s how the world works. They want to controll everything. But you can just be happy if you can be sad. You need both. But i think the people will never learn that. What is really happiness?

At the end you have almost sympatice for the ‘villian’ and you must change your picture of the Doctor. Because how he saved the day, is cruel. This is a cruel Doctor and i like him that way. I can see the developement the Doctor was going through and the whole big picture is really amazing.

Aos: S02x01

Hi Guys,

yesterday the new season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. started and of course i watched it. I love the serie and what i saw just broke me. First of all to be clear i am not a ward hater. I love him and yes i know he is not a good guy, but he is not worse than some other people on marvel that very one love. Ward is a really sentive point and i will not discuss this anymore with anyone and don’t came with comic canon. I don’t read comics and i am just take what the serie and the movies gives me. So Ward is a victim of abuse himself, not just from his parents, and older brother. Because after the abuse of his family, he met Garetts and he also kind abuse him.

I am Fitz in this one. Even if i don’t know if Fitz totally believe in Ward after he did this to him and Simmons. Fitz is broken and this is the sadess thing. He tries,  he tries so hard. But he is just broken, because his best friend, his love let him down. How could Simmons do that? I saw this episode and i lost all my faith in Jemma Simmons.

I can’t saw much. I don’t know what to thing about all that. It was a slow start new characters and not much deep in them… everyone will hate for this but to much Sky and the Sky i loved and yes i know that Ward is at fault at this, but it is really sad how easy it was to break Skys believes… She was the good one, the strong one, she was better…

Also Coulson is becoming a bit… i don’t find the right word… he makes sacrifieces… and i don’t like the way he did it…

We will see what happens in the next episode.

DW: S08EP05 – Time Heist

Hey guys,

sorry i am late again. I am working on it. I will work from know on in a different store, so maybe it will be better. We will see. But now lets talk about Doctor Who. Actually i am not pretty sure what i thing of the episode. This could be a episode that i will find good when i watch it again but right now i am not a fan. So it starts with a really interessting setting. Four people and nobody remembers why they are there and why the let someone take their memories. The Doctor can shine with new characters and i was really excited to see him interact with them, but i was totally disapointed. Clara get all the character things. I love the Doctor with more than one persons. So this are the episodes that are mine. But the Story is a little stupid? I don’t know if stupid really fits here. But i can’t think of a better one. I don’t see the logic in there. Yeah totally everything makes in a way sense, but on the other not a bit. Why should she feel guilty, after all this years? Why should she call the Doctor? And all that you can only trust yourself and you can’t trust some one how looks like you thing… makes no sense to me. I mean yeah in a way they are both right, but why they bring it in this episode? There is nothing that give us something to think about it. Is one right? Or what would be the consequences of one. There is nothing.

So yeah… it started so good and now i am a little disapointed. But maybe i set after a few good episodes my standards higher… don’t get me wrong it is not really a bad episode… it is something in between.

DW: Remembrance of the Daleks

Hi Guys,

i am really excited to see this episode ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’ because like the title already says it has Daleks in it. Also they promised me UNIT – I miss understood that. They mend a organisation LIKE UNIT not UNIT itself – and there is nothing i love more than them. So i have a high expectance for it.

So in the first episode we see the military that does hear what the Doctor says. Ace didn’t get warm with me and of course some Daleks. And for the first time in the classic we see that Daleks could climb stairs. But the second episode don’t is very interesting. Ace is not getting any sympathy. I hope there is coming a lot more to her character. She is brutal and a little dump.

So in the third episode you see a few things i don’t know what i should think about it. The little girl who is everywhere is working for the Daleks. It is – i don’t know – there is nothing in the episode I specially like. For me it is like they wanted to do something like UNIT, but for me they don’t succeed. There is not really a chemistry between the people and the Doctor. The character for me are to stereotype, to flat… there is totally no UNIT feeling coming up, just stupid army people. Even the ‘betrayal’ of someone don’t get me because, who cares. I don’t get any of the characters.

I hope for really good characters, I hoped for Mike, Benton, or the Brig. Characters like that make a story good. But this is for me (and of course some of the reasons are my ‘freudscher’ reading mistake) a totally disappointment.

You could make so much more out of the fight Daleks against Daleks… i am really disappointed. The only good think is that we see the dark side of the Doctor. The fourth Doctor had the order to eliminated the threat of the Daleks on the roots. But he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t do a genocide on the Daleks, even after everything they will do. But the seventh Doctor just destroyed Skaros. He destroyed a whole planet without much thought. That is a totally different Doctor that is a Doctor which is far away from the way he walked long ago. He wanted to see the galaxy, he wanted to explored the universe, than he wanted to make a differents, he wanted to save everyone and now he is becoming a warrior, he is becoming something dark. You can totally see that some day he will become the Valeyard.

Connichi Special 1: Garden of Words

This was the first Movie i watched on the Connichi. I think everyone knows Ghibli (Howls Moving Castle, Spirited Away and so on). I love that films, because of the athmosphere, the music and the amazing landscape. Makoto Shinkai is handled as the new Hayao Miyazaki so i had to watch it.

Before i tell you something about the Story i will tell you about the for me really important thing. The picture in the Movie, the whole movie, the landscape, the rain everything is really beautifull. He knows how to created pictures. together with really amazing music it createds an amazing athmosphere. The rain and the music make it sad, full of hope and dreams.

This is not a funny film, it is not really an very sad film. The main-mood is just a bit sad and sometimes a bit depressing, but like i said also filled with hopes and dreams. So yeah it is not a film to have a nice evening. This is an serious theme. It doesn’t give you right or wrong. It doesn’t tell you how they end up. Their just showing you a part of two lifes. Nothing more and nothing less. There is no action, not much talk, you can say nothing much happend in that will. But i like him. Not so much that i think that i have to buy him so i can watch him again and again, but so much that i am happy that i watched him.

So knows let me tell a little about the Story. There is student that have the dream to make shoes. Everyday it rains he skip the lessions in school to go in the park. There he meets a young woman and they began to meet there everytime it rains. I don’t want to tell more because than you don’t have to watch it anymore.

I bought other films of him. If you want i can write about them too. Until next time 😉
